Up for sale is a very nice Dell AT101 with Salmon ALPS switches. I have personally torn down, cleaned, and tested this keyboard - washed all components, sun-dried each component in this ridiculous Missouri heat, reassembled, and tested successfully. This board was pretty gross when I obtained it, but it wound up cleaning up pretty well!

As mentioned, this is a tested working board. You will notice that the mounting plate has some corrosion on it, and that the case is generally yellowed. Notice too that the Dell logo is nice and clear - a local vendor was kind enough to preserve the Dell logo under a

Found a PS/2 8525 with color monitor at the local Goodwill Outlet. When I got home and popped it open, I found that it has a Hardcard installed (appears to be the same as this). Everything looks good inside, so I went ahead and powered it on. The unit posts, but just sits at a blinking cursor with the Hardcard installed. Pulling the Hardcard allows the unit to boot into the built in BASIC functionality. Awesome, looks like the system, at its base, works properly.

I attempted to make a couple 720K FreeDOS disks to test the floppy drive, but the floppy drive doesn't sound like it is attempting to seek. The driv

Have a few (relatively) small frame rust issues on my vehicle that I would like to have addressed. I talked to a body shop that I've used in the past over in Illinois, and they made it sound like your everyday body shop may not be equipped for frame welding. Google yields a few results, but I always like to get as many opinions as I can on this sort of thing.

Has anyone had any experience with local welding shops? Specifically, shops that can handle automotive frame work?

Picked up an LG 47LC7DF for free with a strange issue. It powers on by itself when plugged in, won't display any sort of on screen menus. Back light powers on and looks normal until it gradually gets brighter causing extreme light bleed. To me, it looks like a panel issue, but the lack of on screen menus and inability to turn off without unplugging definitely seems like a board issue.

Here's a pic, note the bright spots where the backlight LEDs appear to be driven waaaaaaay too high. This is after about 30 seconds. For the first couple seconds the unit is on, backlighting looks nice and even.

I have a fair amount of electronic repair experience from doing cap re

Figured I'd give this another shot since a new round of grab bags seem to have gone out:

I got everything I needed for a rad crap bag DSA board except a right shift (or compatible) and a spacebar a couple grab bags ago. Spacebar is a low priority as a DCS spacebar doesn't look too bad, but I definitely need a right shift.

Looking to buy one, the other, or both. LMK what you have! If you're dead set on trading, I can dig through my bag and see if there is anything in particular you're looking for, but for now I'd prefer to buy.

I'm also interested DSA caps in general, but emphasis on the shift and space
