I just recently upgraded to the iPhone 14 pro max and I went to call an Uber home from the store, but when I went to send him a message on the app it went into my texts to text him. Based off our interaction he didn’t get said text. Is this just a new thing or is my phone being glitchy

I’m a server and I accidentally tripped the power cord of our meatball warmer which is probably 30ish pounds and so it didn’t hit the floor and break I threw my foot under it to cushion the blow. Well immediately my foot hurt of course and when I put excessive weight on the right side where I hit it it makes a popping feeling? Nothing extreme. I can walk fine and I have a small bruise. I’m icing it every hour and I ran into my neighbor who’s a resident in our local hospital who saw it and explained why it’s most likely not broken or fractured but just wanted a second opinion. Nothing else hurts and it only hurts a little when I walk on it, but the popping feeling made me nervous. Opinions?
