I'm looking to buy an M-65 Fishtail Parka. Unfortunately, originals are way out of budget (£550 for a new, unissued garment in XS…), so I was wondering if anyone has any experience of wearing a reproduction?

I've seen Labour Union's and Johnbull's versions but there are little info I can find other than product listings. I've also come across Mil-Tec/Sturm's take on it, but my understanding is that this company should be avoided due to QC.

I would love to go for an OrSlow or Real McCoy's version but I cannot stretch to the cost.

Any suggestions or recommendations are appreciated!

A few years ago I saw some film that had a super harsh contrast. It produced photos that were basically black or white with little to no grey tones in between.

I promised myself I would use it in a project, and now that I have the opportunity to do so I can’t find this film anywhere!

Could anyone point me in the right direction, or at the very least give me a name of the film stock?

I’ve seen people convert solid electrics into semi-hollows, but would it be possible to convert a hollowbody into a semi?

A good few years ago I bought a project hollowbody, and virtually everything has been replaced, including the finish. It’s taken quite a beating with some heavy modifications, something I’m not afraid to tackle alone. Now, somewhat stupidly, I wish I had got a semi to begin with, but I’m way too far into this guitar with both emotional attachment and financial commitment. My reason for heading in this route is an simple one, feedback. I want something where I have greater control over the feedback.
