I have been on Zepbound for two months now, approved through Blue Shield of California. I am turning 65 this month, so I am automatically being switched to Medicare, which doesn’t typically cover GLP-1’s. I had read that there are some cases that Medicare does approve, not many, but some. I went on to the Medicare website and printed out the pre approval form and did my best to fill it out as much as possible, so not to burden my Drs office with it.
