Planning a Uttarakhand trip in mid-June with friends and needed some advice from people who’ve already done something similar.
Current plan:
- Chandrashila trek
- Auli
- Nainital
- Dharchula
We’ll most likely be a group of 6 and are thinking of renting a self-drive car to minimise costs and travel more flexibly. Our budget is around ₹12–13k per person for the entire trip.
A few doubts:
- Will 8 days be enough to cover all these places comfortably, or is it too rushed?
- If not, we’re considering dropping Nainital and Dharchula
- Is renting a car the easiest and most budget-friendly option for 6 people?
- If we are renting car we were also planning to carry 2 tents
