Nico said this was a win now move, that Dallas is maximizing their championship window now by trading for AD. Let's say he's right and they win the title this year. Banners hang forever, fans talk all the time about how they'd trade a decade of bad teams for a single championship.

Assuming he remains a Laker for the foreseeable future, how well would Luka have to perform over the next decade or so to still give the Mavs sellers remorse even with a title? Perennial 1st team all NBA? MVP? Multiple MVPs?

I personally think if he does what he's been doing and the Lakers win even 1 title with him, the Mavs are going to be kicking themselves.

Hi, so I've been at my position for 3 and a half years, and I have only gotten 2 "COLAs" of about 1.5% each of the last 2 winters. I currently make around 62k (my original offer was 60k), but the bottom of the wage range I can find for my position in my area online is closer to 87k, the median is closer to 100-110.

I've seen the 10-20% advice, but it looks like I might be underpaid by almost half, should I ask for that much? Any advice on what number should I start at? Thanks.

Gaming headphones for smaller ears

Headphones - Closed Back

I'm trying to get some gaming headphones for my GF, but can't seem to find anything good with earcups I think she'll like. She loves the size of her Beats Studios (95x80mm ear cups) and specifically said my headset is too big (110x95mm).

I can't seem to find anything in her preferred size outside of bargain level, and I'd like to get her something in the $100-200 range. Any brands to look for, or replacement cups I can use?

I was talking with my GF and she said I have surprisingly strong low tolerance. My worst low was walking a mile and a half to a friend's place on about a ~35, but I just ate when I got in and was fine, no glucagon or anything. Is that as crazy as I think it is? What's your worst low story? Where do you get very worried about your BG?

I was randomly reading an article and was tripped up when it was casually discussed that lame was ableist, I hadn't thought about it at all and fell down a rabbit hole of all of the words that are derived from slurs past and present for disabled people. What do you think about these words that have partly moved to a different part of the lexicon, but are still potentially offensive? Are there some you use and some you don't? Have your own ableist language "ah-hah" moment at some point?
