Getting ready to install a generator rectifier but confused about its location. The rectifier only has an IP20 rating, which means it is not weather-resistant, but the manual appears to indicate that it is to be mounted externally.

How are you all configuring your Recitifiers? Is it mounted externally? Did you weather-proof it? If mounted internally, how are you routing the generator to it? Direct wiring from a L14-30r inlet into the rectifier or using a L14-30 cord?

Only thing I have seen online is folks just laying out the components on a garage floor and connecting everything together. TIA

So the stereo knob on our 24 Tundra broke. Known issue. Went to the dealer I purchased from to get a new one. Go into the Service Department several weeks back and they talk to Parts. Backordered.

I get a call from the dealership yesterday that the knob is in and I can pick it up at Parts. I ask, Parts or Service since this is a warranty issue. They tell me Parts Dept.

Go in today to the Parts Department and ask about the knob. They say they are only special order. I tell them I was called yesterday and told they have them in stock. The clerk then says $18... I said it was a warranty issue. They send me to Service...

Go to Service Department to ask to swap the stereo knob. They CANNOT due

In talking with Signature Solar, they mentioned that EG4 inverters are not rated above 6500 feet in elevation and recommended Victron instead. Curious to know if anyone is using the 6000 or 18k at high altitudes (7000-10,000 feet) and seen any issues?

I am trying to test a machine restore of a remote workstation using the Synology Active Backup Recovery Wizard and having difficulties.

We use Tailscale to perform backups and are able to do file-based restores. We created a Recovery ISO and are able to mount the ISO and boot into it. Internet works fine but cannot connect back to the backup server.

Added the Tailscale installer but it won't work on Windows PE. Tried exposing a subnet from a different computer in the same location with no success.

Has anyone been able to do a image recovery from Active Backup over a Tailscale network. Any assistance is appreciated.

Our girl several weeks back ruptured her distal patellar tendon on a rear leg playing frisbee. We were able to get her in within 24 hrs for an emergency surgery. She had a checkup today and unfortunately the surgery failed. The leg will be permanently lame.

She is home. Happy as a lark running around the backyard. Thrilled to have her e collar off and be off lead. Right now, we are going to give her a break for a month or two and see how she adapts. We have some tough decisions in the coming months.

Our question to those who have dealt with Border Collies with lame legs is whether your experience is that they are happier with or without the leg?

Does anyone know if there is an ArcSDE equivalent to the ST_GeomFromGeoJSON or ST_GeomFromText?

We are working with an API that returns both non-spatial and spatial responses and would like to store this in a single table because it is updated every 60 seconds. From that source table, we hope to create views for the point and polygon features by casting the geometry GeoJSON to a geometry datatype view. We have done this in PostGIS, but we must use ArcSDE on SQL Server.

I can find the ArcSDE Command Reference but not the Function Reference.

I am working on a project to build the parcels in a small rural town that is part of a mining district. Right now, I am in research mode, off to the State Archives to scan historical surveys and properties records.

This city has a complex parcel history that involves a local triangulation network, Townsite Entry, patented Mineral Surveys, Homestead Entries, and PLSS. To quote a GLO Commissioner from 1875, "Precisely when mining claims attached to any particular piece of ground. I cannot determine. Precisely when a legal surface claim by a town occupant attached to any particular lot, I have no means of ascertaining. How, then, with deference to those laws under which these claims have atta

Hello all,

We had a request to convert a CAMEO T2S file into a GIS format for a client. We downloaded CAMEO Data Manager and the client would like more information in the KML export. We reviewed the data format and it looks reasonably easy to convert to a GIS format that can be used with other GIS layers.

My question is, would a tool that converts T2S files to GIS format with attachments be a tool helpful to the Emergency Management community?
