Hello! I am new here and new to Japanese maples. I got this Bloodgood only about 2 weeks ago and already I'm terrified I'm killing it. I'm not sure what exactly to do, but she looks wilty, leaves are drying out, there are some weird "cut" like looking marks on some leaves, the soil is damp and I'm terrified of overwatering/rootrot. I moved it to a terracotta not much larger than the nursery pot it came in, the pot has a drainage hole. I really don't want to murder this tree. What might I be doing that's wrong? Any tips?
