So I keep hearing about a narrow palate with hEDS, and it made me think about my own mouth and now I'm wondering if I might also have a narrow palate lol. My tongue feels too big for my mouth, so one side of my mouth is within the little cave created by my jaw, snugly against my teeth, while on the other side, it feels like my tongue is sticking over and slightly placed between my upper and lower teeth. It feels like only one half of my mouth actually has the teeth touching, and I never thought much about it, but now I'm wondering if that might be a sign of a narrow palate and if I should maybe see a dentist about it 😅 Does anyone with a certified narrow palate (or also a certified not-narro

I have cochlear synaptopathy, which doesn't really show up on normal hearing tests (though very mild hearing loss was found there too) and it already makes me feel like a faker because there's not really "proof" that I'm HoH at all (other than me struggling obviously). I'm really good at seeming 100% hearing in a language I'm proficient in, because there's the context and all to help me figure it out, and I know what the words mean so no effort goes towards thinking about that part. I understand the rest, language and vocabulary wise, so I just need to fill in the blanks for the missing/unclear sounds. I struggle sometimes and have to ask people to repeat themselves, but it's fine really. Bu
I suspect I might have a vaginal septum, and I am already diagnosed with vaginism (which might be related, if that's the case). I'm physically unable to have intercourse, and any kind of insertion at all just really really hurts, including ob/gyn visits, so I don't want to go and have them poke around if it's nothing. Does anyone know of any idk, medical research articles or whatever where they show a vaginal septum that's not undergoing surgery? Seeing the surgery in progress doesn't help me with my not-bloody, not-dissected hooha, nor do the anatomical drawings that just... don't look like a hooha at all. Or any other resources I could check out for a bit more certainty?

As the title says. I see both of those statements frequently and like... I just don't get how the SAME PERSON can hold both of these views. If women became less picky, they'd match with more guys. If they become more picky, then they'd obviously have fewer matches and not "have 20 other guys lined up" (which is bs anyway but we'll ignore that), but then they'd be more picky, which is also wrong. Like, I genuinely don't understand what women are supposed to do. Match with the first ugly guy they see, and then just date him even though they aren't attracted to him at all, and never ever talk to another man? Like, what do y'all want 😭
(Similarly, "women only match with the top 10%" but also "I
I have two passports, one of which my visa is in and that all my tickets etc. are booked on, and then another one that I just have but don't use for travel etc. I will bring both to China with me when I go on exchange, and as far as I know they're a bit stricter there with carrying identification with you at all times (in Korea for example I had my national ID card which isn't a valid international travel document and a picture of my passport just in case, never needed to identify myself though). I was thinking of carrying the one that doesn't have any important documents connected to it as a way of identification when out and about, as that one would be less bad to lose. However, that one w
I'm currently feeling totally lost because I need the wheelchair service for my upcoming flight to Beijing, and on the website it says clearly that I need to book it at least 72h in advance as it's an international flight (on other flights, with other airlines, I was able to just walk up to the designated counter and be like hi help please). So I tried on the website, right atfer booking (1½ months ago) and again now, with my flight in ~2 weeks. Doesn't work, keep getting an error. Tried calling customer service, then and now, no one picking up. Wrote an email to both the local office and the Europe customer service mail, no reply. I'm starting to feel really anxious because like. I need th
Not going to discuss anything in detail, but briefly put, I'm a dominant woman and not interested in meeting anyone who's not interested in that kind of dynamic. However, the thing is, I won't know if the person is interested if I don't bring it up. But also, if I bring it up, it seems like the men frequently get the impression that I'm fine with no commitment kind of relationships or relationships that are purely sexual in nature, which is definitely not the case at all. On apps I usually put an abbreviation at the very bottom of my profile (like, "fd" for example), hoping it might work as a shibboleth, and I do try to make it very clear that I am NOT interested in purely sexual encounters,
Danke!
Just got a new laptop today as my old one was just absolutely not doing it anymore, but that means I also had to redownload the Kindle for PC app, and now it won't open any NetGalley files anymore?? It keeps saying that "this book isn't supported by Kindle for PC" and to download the Kindle app, which I have, but I want to be able to read certain books on my laptop to annotate them (which doesn't reliably work in Thorium and not at all in the browser NG reader...). Does anyone know what's up, as I found info on a new Kindle for PC app for Windows 11, but that's the one I have and the one that's causing these issues.
(because I cannot watch horror movies but the plots of supernatural horror seem so interesting - actually looking for a serious relationship lol)
