The business I run relies heavily on the approval of those within a bureaucracy (think colleges, schools, HOAs, small local governments, etc.) to operate.

I’ve been running my business for a little over 4 years and my biggest barrier to getting new customers is getting approved by these bureaucracies to serve their captive population (I.e. college students/families, HOA residents, etc.). I’ve had very mixed success, some of the decision makers I’ve lucked out and gotten into contact with and it’s been an easy process and others I’ve been chasing for 4 years with no returned calls, emails or any sort of correspondence and it’s hindering my businesses growth.

Was wondering if anyone has an

Chase or Amex for reward travel towards honeymoon

Card Recommendation Request (Template Used)

Hey everyone!

Getting married in October and trying to plan our honeymoon for sometime in the March 2024 timeframe most likely to Dubai/Maldives. Both my fiancé and I have multiple credit cards with point balances but being we have some time to accumulate more points before booking, I wanted to get a feel for the opinion for one of us to open a new card and earn a sign up bonus so we can apply some more points to the trip.

Some information (using the template):

  • Current cards: (list cards, limits, opening date)
  • Chase Sapphire Preferred - $15K limit, September 2020
  • Amazon Prime Rewards - $15K limit, December 2021
  • Chase Marriott Bonvoy - $11.5K limit, October 2019
  • Chase Ink Busine

Hi all! Hope everyone is doing well with their studying now that busy season has mostly wrapped up for a lot of us.

I myself passed the exam a few years ago and when I was taking it, one of the most frustrating things was redoing the same MC questions over and over, basically to the point of memorization on Becker, which obviously was not helpful. Also, if I didn't understand a topic that well, I really had no one to turn to but scouring YouTube/Becker in the hopes I could find someone to explain what I was struggling with. So I created an app called CPA Exam AI. As shown in the video (first comment), the app lets you either 1) ask questions and get an explanation or 2) generate sample 5 qu

Not sure if this is really a "sweaty startup" per say so feel free to remove this if it doesn't fit but...

Any operators/former operators of golf driving ranges out there? Looking into the business model and seems relatively straightforward and profitable as long as you are able to get a deal on land. Seems too good to be true so looking for some first hand insight if anyone is open to ti!

Hi all!

Looking for some business owners who went on to franchise their business as I may be looking to do the same in the near future.

Was mainly wondering what the process entails (lawyers, registrations, contracts, trademark registrations, etc.) as well as the costs associated with doing so. Would love to connect with someone who’s done it.

Thanks!

Hi all - a good friend of mine and I have created a free Discord community for SMB owners, builders and investors.

We call it the 'One Comma Club' because most of us here have one comma in our NW haha. We are aiming to make this a community of serious doers and builders who are serious about building wealth and growing their businesses to get that second (or maybe even third...) comma. In the future we plan to hold in person networking events, idea dinners, etc. Think of it as a young Tiger21 or YPO (for us common folk).

There's so many amazing stories of builders and doers in this group so we would love to have some of you if you're interested. If you are interested feel free to DM/PM m
