I have my collection organized by genre first. I recently pulled Companion out of sci-fi to watch and I got to thinking... why is Companion sci-fi, but I have M3gan in horror? And what about M3gan 2, which is decidedly more sci-fi than horror, do I keep it with the first movie for continuity?

What about movies like The Thing, Alien, Event Horizon? (Currently horror, sci-fi, and sci-fi respectively)

How do you file this kind of crossover work?

Open your over the counter meds as soon as you bring them home and put them away. That way when you find yourself in need, and arent at your best, you dont have to struggle with plastic wrap seals that are never perforated enough if at all, or the glued on cardboard or foil that never seems to have a pull tab, or pull any sensory nightmare "cotton" out of a pill bottle with a narrow top, etc. Its already done, and you can just take your meds and move on.

Maryland has implimented Eric's ID Law, which allows people with "invisible" disabilities to add a special symbol to thier driver's licenses and state IDs as a way indicate that fact to law enforcement if necessary.

Given how misidentification can often lead to mistreatment, I personally I think its a great idea. Its optional, and could make a valuable difference in how interactions are handled.

Dying cabin ceiling fabric?

Customization: FITS / Modification / Tips & Tricks

I have the black package, and I'm OK with the black/grey/slate blue of most of the interior, but the uprights and ceiling are that pale off-white color. So I'm wondering if anyone's had any luck in dying it.

It's not a deal breaker for me, so if there's not a good way, I'll get over it, but with this sub full of modders I thought I'd ask.

There's a long held thing where you dont want to turn on an amp, generally a tube amp, without having a speaker load plugged in.

Considering open/closed jacks are readily available why hasnt it become standard practice to route the potentially dangerous power section through a switching jack? So the part that would be harmed without a speaker load is bypassed unless there's there something plugged in?

It wouldnt be a perfect system of course, but it seems like it could be a relatively easy cautionary practice in amp building.

I don't want to state the titles involved to avoid swaying opinion - that said...

I have a fairly rare issue of a comic magazine with multiple shorts in it, that has 1 page I 'need' for my own collection. However, there's another section of the book that's really the reason it's desireable.

So there's my question - what to do?

Would you be OK with a magazine that has the pages you really value in it, but has an ultimately reduced value because of it's missing page? I certainly think another collector would appreciate that bit I don't need, esp. if they can get it for less than usual because of the missing page. But as a collector myself, would I just be doing myself a diservice par

I've been dealing with some diabetic retinopathy issues for the last month+ and thought I'd share my experience with y'all.

Potential trigger warning for some eye trauma...

  1. Got some black floaters in my vision in one eye. They were opaque, and obtrusive, but ultimately, if that had been it, it's something I could've learned to live with. But that wasn't it.
  2. My first ophthalmologist appointment - abnormal blood vessels are causing the floaters. I get an injection in my eye that's supposed to subdue the blood vessels and keep it from worsening.
  3. A couple days later, it worsens. Other than the floaters, I'm now getting some blood "loose" in my eye, clouding it signif

In the most recent season and episode(s) of American Horror Story: NYC Patti Lupone, and then Sandra Bernhardt read tarot. Regardless of the context, I thought the deck itself was really compelling. Sadly, I can't find it anywhere, and pictures seem nearly as rare, the best I can do right now is:

If anyone has any tips, I'd love to see 'em.

Ozempic seems to be on backorder everywhere. Sadly it was a huge part of my success, so I'm loathe to just drop it. My doctor gave me a script for Trulicity to keep me covered until I can get back to Ozempic - if I want/need to.

So I'm curious if anyone here has made the switch in either direction and has thoughts on that switch.

Recently watched an Indian film called Tumbbad and thought it seemed fitting with it's story about old gods and the rituals around them.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8239946/.

I thought it was excellent, well acted, beautiful effects and cinematography, very moody overall. As a white guy in the US, being rooted in Indian culture in the first half of the 1900's gave it a very interesting viewpoint I hadn't really seen before in this genre.

Recommended.
