Sorry I did not know where to post this. But basically I want to include religious stuff to my novel but I’m not religious nor am I knowledgeable about it so I’m searching it up online. But theres just so much info and I know for a fact that my plot wouldn’t be “religiously accurate”. Theres also some mixing between religions which contradict each others beliefs and ugh… I really want to include all elements but Im scared the religious people may get triggered at the inaccuracy and think that I’m mocking or offending them…

I thought UBC was especially pretty clean considering the amount of people, but ever since enrolling in afternoon classes I realized just how much garbage is left behind on campus. Even just today I saw two groups leave all their take out food behind on the tables. I don’t understand how people can do this or not hold their friend accountable like think about the turtles man. If I saw my friends do that they would no longer be my friends. Not cool.

I noticed that in over 20 years of living, my body has stayed “too” consistent. No matter how much exercise I do, how much I stay dormant and indoors for months, how much I eat or don’t eat, my body just stays thin. I’ve always had a “lucky” body where no matter how much I eat and how junky the food got, I never gained weight. Everyone around me always told me that I was a huge eater and that I must workout or do some sports all the time to stay so slim, but in reality I just walk a few minutes to and back from school and play games the rest of the day. Still ate 3 times a day, eating the most during lunch and dinner. Never understood how people could get fat. From this, I knew it still was

I have wanted to live with a cat for as long as I remember, and preferably adopt from a shelter. However, I am a university student living alone who isn’t exactly broke but also can’t afford to be spending thousands of dollars every month. Should I wait till I graduate and get a decent paying job? But also at the same time, getting a full time job would mean less time with my cat. I’m also going to move countries in a few years… And to top it off I heard that cats, especially from shelters, are preferred to be taken in with another cat so they don’t get lonely. I’m also not sure whether to move into a larger space if I do decide to live with them. I just don’t know what the optimal setting

Every since I had to move abroad for school and get roommates or upstairs/downstairs neighbours, all 5 of them have been the worst. I have never encountered one “normal” roommate. First roommate was a girl who would stay up all night on the phone with her boyfriend in india. When I confronted her about how I can hear her and is disrupting my sleep, she would literally tell me “I don’t care. It’s daytime in India and I’m going to talk to him”. Sigh. Next roommate was another girl who would also stay up all night and on the phone 24/7. She would also run the laundry around midnight, where my room was right next to it. Not to mention she would start using the blender very early in the morning a

I feel like I’ve seen a pattern especially in science courses, where they give you a practice exam, but the actual exam barely tests you on the topics mentioned in the practice. Not sure if they do this so they make you study the whole thing but I’ve got the final coming up in 2 days and theres way too much memorizing to do. Would it be wise to kind of gloss over what was mentioned in the practice exam and focus more on topics that wasn’t in the exam lol

I’m not sure if this is an ADHD thing or some other disorder, but ever since I started living outside my parents house, I have been unbelievably intolerant to noise. But the thing is, I don’t mind noises coming from busy roads, like car horns and drive bys. What really gets to me are the noises from humans like talking and them watching tv. Even the slightest noise from my roommates or upstairs/downstairs neighbours set me off, it is so bad that my heart starts racing and I can physically feel my body stress out. I get so irritated and tempered its so bad… I’ve tried everything like getting white noise machines, having on a loud honeycomb fan, mac earplugs and even just playing lofi music
