moondoggle

Hi guys, rookie collector, please forgive me if this is a dumb question. Impulse bought a pack of Metal Universe and got what I think is a pretty sweet Ethan Holliday card. I'm a hockey and football guy so I had to google him. The corner has a little crease, like it was pinched at some point. I've contacted Upper Deck and they say send it back and they'll send me something else, but I was curious what the experts think.

Does this card have any value with the damaged corner like that, or is that not even a big deal? Does it have much value anyway? I couldn't find any examples of it being sold. Am I better off seeing what UD sends me back? Thank you in advance!

As the title says, my wife lost her job recently, would a reamortized mortgage help much with monthly expenses, or would the fact that household income is down work against us when talking to the lender? For reference we're 2.5 years into a 5 year term/25 year mortage.

Thanks!

For reference I'm only managing between 1 and 2 hours a night after 4 months on the machine. Still not sure what's waking me up at that point.

My pressure settings are very low because of past tear duct surgery (if pressure goes above 7, air blows out my tear duct into my eye, it's as terrible as it sounds).

Two weeks ago I started mouth taping, and have been practicing nasal breathing fanatically as well as some didgeridoo practice. My average pressure has been 6 and I'm 0 AHI every night for the 1-2 hours I'm actually on CPAP.

My question is: Is this a win? 0 AHI on such low pressure...am I getting better?

Ok I couldn't get a straight answer out of the sleep clinic person, I'm on a ResMed Airsense 11 if that matters. What I'm trying to clarify is the AHI sleep report numbers: Do those mean AHIs that occurred despite being on the CPAP, or AHIs that would have occurred but the CPAP ramped up and stopped them?

Like I said, dumb question but thank you if anyone can clarify.

Anyone have any experience with the different youth flag football organizations in the city? My kid wants to try it this summer. There seems to be at least 3 leagues - one is already full but the other 2 have so little info I can barely tell if they're actually still in business or not. Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

So my back hatch (not a power lift gate) ajar sensor seems to have stopped working, it started gradually, occasionally acting like it was still open but now it's permanent. I can't use the fob to lock it any more, but if I use the button on the door it will lock.

Does anyone know where this sensor is? Is it something I can tweak? I tried taking out the latch and poking around and nothing jumped out at me as being broken or not making a connection.

Thanks!

So after searching for 2+ years I got an offer yesterday. The hiring manager was hyped and so was I and I kind of wasn't thinking as she laid out the details I was just like "wow that's great thanks!". It was just a verbal offer and HR is going to send me the written next week. Once I chilled out after I realized I probably shouldn't have just agreed to their very first offer.

Would it be bad form to go back and ask if they can go up on the salary or vacation at this point? If so, what's the best way to phrase it? I've always just taken the first offer from a job in the past and don't want to blow this opportunity to possibly get myself a decent raise.

For context this is a non tech

Is this missing from the app or am I looking in the wrong spots? Have you guys seen this one anywhere?

I usually prefer sword and sorcery type fantasy but I could use a break and am looking for a world travelling/adventure/maybe treasure hunting type of story. I really enjoyed The Explorer's Guild and could go for something like that, or similar in a more modern setting. Thank you in advance!

Sorry if the title is clunky, couldn't think of the best way to word it. Is there a spot in California that I could find hotels/scenery that's the real world equivalent of the Grand Californian? Hopefully cheaper? :D Should I be looking in the Yosemite area? Sierra? Thanks in advance!

Full disclosure, I got the hardcover for Christmas and have read the whole story, but I'm really enjoying rereading them one at a time as they come out in the app and everything is blowing my mind again, this is definitely something to read twice. I have no one to talk about it though since all the discussion threads on r/Marvel are 6 months old!

Anyone have any burning questions/discussion points they want to go over?

One thing that I've wondered about is why were Husk and Archangel sent on the mission to the Mothermold? Just seems like weird choices.

Is it worth acknowledging the fact that you're willing to move with a line like "I'm looking to move to X city because..." or "I'm willing to relocate for this opportunity..." or is that all obviously implied?

Thanks!

Like the title says! At the end of Old Man Hawkeye, they imply that Dead Man Logan will touch on this timeline, but I checked it out and it seems to all be "current". Is there a different Old Man Logan series I'm missing here? Thanks!

I'm making my way through the Fresh Start reading order now, and just finished Death of the Inhumans. The last Inhumans story I read prior to this had Gorgon left behind on the Progenitors planet, did I miss a storyline covering his return to New Arctilan? Thanks!
