I have a regular preprogrammed strength training workout that I log with my Garmin 255, but it normally gets the rep count wrong. I can't edit the reps on the watch during the workout, only through the app afterwards by which time Strava has the wrong rep numbers. I cant see an easy way to delay the workout being sent from Garmin to Strava before I have had a chance to correct the numbers. I dont want to disconnect and reconnect the two accounts every time I do a workout. Anyone have the same problem and found a workaround?

I recently upgraded my Garmin watch (from Forerunner 45 to 255) and ever since this has been causing issues with my phone (A12, which has worked fine for years), I initially thought it was the watch but am now convinced the problem lies with the phone (although maybe the watch has caused it? Or maybe just a coincidence)
Basically the Bluetooth connection to the watch (and other devices like my car and wireless speaker) will drop off after anything from a few minutes to a few hours. The WiFi is also affected and it will drop the WiFi connection and even tell me my passwords are wrong for the various routers I have password stored for. Even when the WiFi is connected it sometimes says 'conn
Phone is a Galaxy A12. New watch is Fr 255, old watch was a Fr 45+
I am very pleased with my new watch except for one issue, the bluetooth disconnects after a few hours and needs to be manually reconnected. Sometimes it only stays connected for a few minutes, other times it lasts up to a day. I have been doing this by resetting the phone or putting it briefly into airplane mode. It sounds phone related but I am sure it is the watch...
I had the 45+ since 2020 and the phone since 2021 and everything worked fine for 3+ years... but since getting the new watch the problem is spreading and the phone is now having the same issue with other bluetooth devices - like my car and wireless speaker -
Sometimes after reviewing details of a mass start run, like parkrun or a race, I look at the details of other athletes I ran with under 'manage group' and get the option to give kudos to everyone (or just athletes I follow). This option only seems to come up sporadically and I have often tried to trigger it without success. Anyone seen this and know how to make it so I can give kudos to everyone I ran with? I use desktop version and android app but have only seen this option on the app.
I am sure this is a fairly well known scene from the last 25 years, and I think it is from a UK sitcom/cringe style mockumentary. I am picturing someone like David Brent or Alan Partridge being involved.
Basically at the start of the episode the character tells a small white lie about being Catholic, things snowball through the episode and by the end they are face to face with a very Irish Catholic Priest who suspects the character is lying. They deliver the line 'Are YOU a Catholic?' in a very aggressive manner.
Been bugging me all evening. Might even be from a film or a US show but I think I am on the right lines but just can't pin it down properly.
This may have been asked before but you can never have too many threads asking the same thing.
In my town there are several underpasses that pass underneath the main railway line and a deeper subway system beneath the roads in the town centre. I have always been reluctant to go through them when running because I fear the GPS signal will be lost underneath and then screw up my position when I emerge. Does anyone know what to expect when running underground or should I just try it out and see? FR 45+
I joined Strava in July 2016 but have data from my runs using various Garmin devices going back to August 2013, I was considering trying to import the old Garmin data onto my Strava account. Is this an easy or worthwhile process? Or should I just leave things as they are...
I tried some of that 0.0 beer that Paul Pogba was promoting in the Euros and the next day I noticed I felt a bit of a headache, could it be from the beer? It might sound like a daft question but I remember that some spirits are worse for hangovers than others and they are all about the same strength. Also isn't red wine worse than white? There must be more to it than just the alcohol making you dehydrated.
I know some people don't like it but I am not one of those people! Recently it seems to be disappearing from the shelves in my local big supermarket, the only one they seem to do now is Pink Grapefruit but that has been out of stock for a while. Even the expensive Tropicana one is nowhere to be seen. Is there something going on with the grapefruits??
Often accompanied by a dog. I just wonder who they are talking to and why they don't make the call from home where it is quieter/more private.
Just drove past my old Scout Hut and got a flashback memory from the 1980s - after Sea Scouts finished at we would dash to the local convenience store before it shut for chocolate snacks and a can of Top Deck - the green one. We were probably 13 or 14 and thought it was the dogs bollocks, getting a tiny bit drunk off a soft drink that actually had alcohol in it. There was no question of not getting served and we would certainly never try to buy any proper beer at that age, but how was this legal and why is it not still around? Used to love that stuff but wouldn't dream of asking for lager and lime in a pub now I am all grown up.
