Just finished Stormlight, and I'm not quite ready to jump into a new series. Are any of the secret projects ok to read before Mistborn Era 2?
I got spoiled on who the main character is for Sunlit Man and I really want to read that one, but I want to make sure I'm not robbing myself of any enjoyment that I'd get from catching up on Mistborn first.
My current setup is:
Breeding room - 2 cats with the best mutations, currently all my stimulation furniture is here
Mutation room - where I put the kittens from my breeding room, they breed a ton (incestually) and farm new mutations
Secondary breeding room - I put all other cats with good mutations and no defects here to try to farm new best breeders
Room for stray cats - basically a Tracy /Tink factory
How does stimulation affect mutation inheritance, and how should I be using it?
I was zoned out during the conversation with Butch after the first house boss. My cats from that battle have stars next to their name and flaming crowns. What's the meaning and what should I do with them? I don't want to waste them if they're special now.
The past week, every day I have woken up shit all over my washing machine on my balcony. Tonight I finally laid eyes on the bastard roosting on the ceiling eating a snack. Of course there was fresh guano all over my washing machine.
I've lived in this apartment for months and this only just started, but he's obviously making himself at home. It was kinda funny at first but I can't clean this every day. How can I keep him from coming back?
I primarily play defense but this is one area where I feel pretty useless. Attackers seem to have high priority for aerial challenges in the box compared to non-keeper defenders. How do you be most useful in these scenarios?

congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-bill/1...I'm just getting into the Mando series after finishing Andor. I understand these 3 shows all happen around the same time.
What is the best order to watch them in? As I understand it, release order would mean 2 seasons of Mando, BoBF, Mando S3, and then Ahsoka.
Is that order also chronological?
So, I've been plateaued for quite a while at around 1500 Rapid. I have been playing a fairly positional repertoire of the Catalan, Taiminov/Kan Sicilians, and QGD.
One thing I noticed from analyzing my games is that my best scoring opening is the Samisch KID as white where I launch massive kingside attacks. So I started playing the Kan/Taiminov in a similar fashion, delaying my kingside development as long as possible and baiting kingside weaknesses before launching everything towards them. It's been very successful.
I'd like to experiment with other openings that are well-suited for kingside pawn storms. Since I have been a d4 player for years and feel great about my KID response, I'd lik

Hi all, I'm rated 1500 rapid chess.com and 1700 rapid Lichess. I recently started playing competitive Rapid tournaments OTB with pretty disappointing results as black (0% win rate with some draws).
I am doing quite well as white both online (60%+) and OTB (70%+), so I want to spend my time focusing on refreshing my black repertoire. I do pretty well with black online but it seems to not be translating to any OTB success.
My current repertoire is as follows:
White - Catalan, Samisch against KID, Exchange Slav
Black against e4: Sicilian Kan main lines + Hedgehog sometimes (55% win rate online), main line Anti-Sicilians
Black against d4/c4/Nf3: KID (45%% win rate online), Qb6 lines agains
