A personal challenge failed, a lesson learnt.

How I played: I played primarily on weekdays after work. I played across 3 accounts, all starting at S3. I would play warm up QP games once per day before going into Comp. I would play on 1 account until I lost 1 match, and then for the other 2 accounts - time permitting. I tried to rotate the account I was playing on so I would start with a different account each time, but was not able to do this consistently.

As the season end approached, I hadn't touched gold on my main account so I made a push to touch gold. Probably the easiest ever last 3 days of a season I've ever seen. I had a game where we held them on a hybrid map, and we were being

For example, Wanda and Thor can be killed before the big boom.

But Hela's wind-up is much much shorter.

  1. Can she be stunned out of the ult? (goes down to 50%?)

I believe yes.

  1. Can she be killed between pressing ult and entering the ult mode with 1,000 health?

I believe no.

Upon each spawn don't you get a clean sheet all your abilities? If I die mid overdrive when I spawn, I still have a Cool Down. Is that a Bug?

I knew this is how it works for Portal, where its a team-wide timer from the time of last use. Is Iron Man Overdrive the same, but at the individual person level? Does the time during death count towards the timer? cos pre-match time in spawn room counts for portal.

I'm not even new to Iron Man, so I'm quite shook that this is new to me.

Starting with the spice: Hood players seem to think they can play entirely from range. They will take the space of the objective from range and then sit back and relax while the enemy continues to control the objective. I've seen this often enough. They cant all be DPS flexing tank.

But no, seriously regardless of Hero or even being a Poke tank, for example if you have dive tanks who don't take or contest the objective -- you need to push the enemies back much more to allow the squishies to do the same job.

Assume that the team has already nicely and politely asked the tanks to touch the objective, what's the right way to deal with Tanks who do not contest or take objective?

I'm a recover

I feel my mental model for it was only use in case of emergency, like cloak fade.

But maybe I should be treating it more like Luna Freeze or Mantis Sleep -- always looking for ways to use it. Exception being games where there is a threat you need to save it for.

I've started to push up or take angles very recklessly when I have bird up, and then be on alert so I use it once it to retreat to a more sensible location.

Context: I'm not a good aimer.
