HSBC is great if you're looking to get their 2% cashback on tap transactions. But that's pretty much the only plus I can say about it. They have very slow customer service and the tech is notably dated. I could not sign up online (unactionable errors) and had to do it via phone. The mobile android app takes almost 30 seconds just to login and the rest of it is just slow as molasses. They also must have been involved in some money laundering as I had to submit to a number of questions around my citizenship despite no other bank asking this.

My understanding is that credit card cashback offers are not treated as taxable income. Does anyone know if shares given as a promo via broker signups are treated the same way?

Looking to get some flowers for my partner this valentine's day. Anyone got recommendations for places near the CBD? Don't need it to be delivery since WFH.

I have a User model. The user has_many Cars. Cars has a brand attribute e.g. Toyota. I want to be able to do a search to find all users with cars of brand Toyota and Honda.

Is this possible via ransack? I've tried some predicates like cars_brand_in but that seems to be a match any(returns users if they have either honda or toyotas) rather than a match all search.
