So I’m on month three of no weight loss and I mean none, (it’s consistently the same with several scales whether it’s the gym or home and only goes up if I forget and drank something before weighing)

I’ve lost weight in the past 167lb to be exact, before just getting into a normal bmi and maintaining for a year, I decided I wanted to shed those last few pounds to finally get to the 130’s (5’6 afab 27y 154lb).

I was maintaining on 2200-2400 calories with 12-15k steps daily 2 hours cardio/calisthenics/and light weight training (I have lipedema joint issues that are made worse with weight training so I stick to cardio and build pretty significant definition with that) 7 days a week, on top of

For context I’ve lost a lot of weight two years ago and have kept a normal but on the upper end of healthy bmi in that time. I wanted to give myself a little more wiggle room and lose 12-18lb but after a month of comfortably being on a 750-1000 cal deficit (based on lightly active tdee otherwise my garmin watch puts my deficit at 1.5-2k).

I track everything religiously whatever goes into my mouth, other than water, touches my food scale, even oil and I don’t snack(no handful of nuts here). I cook 100%of my meals myself so theres no sabotage going on. I

I see a lot of people claiming to need to be on very low deficits to “lose” and I as someone who experienced rapid weight loss, above 300lb, from this perception I think it would be good to share fully what tdee can actually look like.

My maintenance ranges from 2.2-2.6k cals and I’ve been maintaining on that for 8 months at 150-160lb at 5’6 with a large frame and 18-22% bf.

I do cardio 30 minutes at a minimum daily and maintain a minimum of 10-12k steps daily.

Loss is typically .5 lb a week on a 500 cal deficit but I typically see it in a lump loss of a pound or two after a month rather than consistent decrease on the scale.

Please feel free to share your stats and maybe we can get a

Anyone else mourning the fact they have to go "that" much farther to hit size/weight goals.

I'm not even super tall (5'6), but wrist/neck/elbow measurements are in the range for a large framed 6' woman and I won't even be able to think about fitting in an actual size 0 until I'm severely underweight or hit a 10%bf

What a fucking failure...

Weird ED preferences

TW Food and Body talk

Carbs are a huge fear food for me but as long as they're low in calories or make up a complete protein like potatoes they're fine otherwise I can't stand my it and my ED makes me feel awful for eating them.

Fruits have fiber and complex sugars so it's safe, vegetable are the same plus tons of other vitamins, but even the most nutritious of breads make my ED lash out, grains are also a hard to the point I have quinoa sitting in my freezer for weeks now because it fills me with so much anxiety to just think about eating it.

Greek yogurt on the other hand is a godsend I think I could eat a 16oz tub and my ED would say "at least you had like 60g of protein."

I hate how much it controls me, b

I hit 250lb a few weeks ago and I've been more focused on macros since starting CICO in August. I've noticed that my macros fluctuate mostly between protein and fat with low carbs most days. I eat a lot foods high in "healthy fats" 5% Greek yogurt, avocados, eggs, etc and on those days my carb intake is much lower. Most of my protein is from lean meat and other than yogurt I don't each much dairy and most of my carbs come from beans and vegetables with the a slice of toast or a serving of corn tortillas on the side 3x a week. I don't eat snacks and what I do keep around is jerky for when I've had a small breakfast and need to hold me over until luch/dinner (I unintentionally started doing 16

I'm almost at 60lbs loss, despite unhelpful comments from my always skinny brother to both me and other hefty members of my family.

I was always "overweight" even as a teenager, and received a lot of grief about it, but looking back at the few pictures I allowed to be taken despite my abysmal self image, I really really was not, nor did I need to lose weight especially as I was still growing. Being generally bullheaded and having un-diagnosed ASD at the time probably didn't help either.

The thing is I never wanted to diet despite how much it was pushed on me. The truth was that I didn't care about being fat, and it wasn't affecting how I felt physically, but the constant comments definitel

I'm almost at 50lb loss out of my 145/175lb goal and I really haven't noticed the feeling of being "lighter" that everyone seems to talk about. Even when I was younger and lost 20-30lb I never felt lighter despite loved ones commenting on me looking different and themselves feeling "lighter" after their own much smaller losses. I have noticed less strain on my knees, but I feel that being more active/working on knee strengthening has helped more-so than the weight loss.

I also don't feel more energized which I suspect is two-fold being that I'm 1) under a daily a 1200 daily cal (which I decided on due to my current weight and I have plans to increase as I go down in conjunction with adding

Off road wheels?

Gear Question

Does anyone know if off road roller skate wheels are a thing?

I know powerslide makes off road inline wheels. I’d like to be able do to some relatively smooth dirt trails, that I used to bike as a kid, with my dad.

Has anyone tried making off road skates wheels? Is that possible?

I know pigeons shop has a mock up of an off road set up but idk if it was just a proof of concept or if they actually used it off roading.
