I must've read every Reddit and QNAP forum post on containers experiencing slow network speeds, and literally every single one of them either magically started working after a reboot or never had a resolution. I'm hoping my post will be the unicorn and someone can help me figure this out because it's literally driving me nuts.

Current setup:

NAS - QNAP TS-664
Volume 1 - 3x Seagate IronWolf Pro 22TB SATA HDD, Thin volume, 2 RAID groups (RAID Single, RAID 1)
Volume 2 - 2x Crucial P310 1TB M.2 PCIe SSD, Thick volume, 1 RAID group (RAID 1)
Network Adapter 1 - 2.5GbE, 2.5Gbps, MTU 1500
Router - TP Link AX3000, 2.5GbE port connected directly using Cat6 cable to NAS
Internet - FTTP

Rate/slate my website

Showoff Saturday

I recently finished my MVP website, fully designed and developed by me. Would love some feedback from likeminded folk!

Still plenty more I want to add, but seeking feedback on its current state before I make any further changes.

Thanks all!

Hi all,

My Indonesian partner of 2.5 years is trying to figure out the best plan for her to secure the relevant qualifications to work here in Australia.

She has been teaching international (read: English-speaking) kindergarten and primary school children for the last 6 years in Bali. We’ve decided after 2.5 years of maintaining a long distance relationship and taking it in turns visiting each other, that she’s going to apply for the partner visa (temporary, subclass 309).

Since she currently holds a visitor visa (subclass 600) she doesn’t have work rights and can only undertake a maximum of 3 months study in Australia. It seems impossible therefore to gain the qualifications she needs (f

I recently bought my first NAS, a TS-664 and, thinking of future data requirements, went with a singular 22TB FireWolf Pro. I could only afford the one drive to start with, but do plan to add more in a couple of months once funds allow so that I can start a RAID cluster.

It's not clear however if I start using the single drive now, will I have to move all my data off of it when I add more 22TB FireWolf Pros and enable RAID? Or will the QNAP be able to isolate the existing data if there's enough space while it sets up the RAID array?

Ideally I'd add just one disk at a time, but if I'll run into problems doing that, then perhaps I should buy two more disks next, set those up as a new storage

I want to get a second number for receiving business calls and WhatsApp messages, but the cheapest plans I can find all start at $15 a month. Whilst this may seem cheap for some, I’m literally only wanting the number to be able to receive messages via a secondary WhatsApp account for my business, so that I don’t have to give out my personal number to strangers on the internet.

It doesn’t need any data included with the package as the WhatsApp account it’ll be registered to will be signed in on my phone which uses my personal number’s data.

I’ve tried searching but nothing below $15 seems to exist. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I'm trying to use a Google Sheet I've created for budgeting to make sure I always have enough funds available for upcoming bills. I've got several spreadsheets within this workbook, each one for the frequency of the bills, namely Fortnightly, 4-Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly.

Inside each of these sheets, I have a bill on each row. I have a hidden column (B) that I use as an arbitrary date in the past, which I can use as a reference for the formula in another column (C) to calculate when the bill is next due. An example of this in the Fortnightly sheet, in cell C5:

=value(B5) + 14*CEILING((now() - value(B5))/14)

I then have all of the bill costs in another column (F).

I use numbe

I'm experiencing a weird issue and hoping someone can advise on how to fix.

My Spotify is connected to Alexa as my default music app. This morning when I was getting ready, I asked Alexa to play something on Spotify. When it was time to leave for work, I asked Alexa to turn off, which it did.

Now whenever I open my iOS Spotify app, it will automatically start playing the track that was last playing on my Echo when I left earlier. It's playing on my phone, through my headphones, but it still has the green remote playing icon, with my Echo listed next to it.

I can't seem to be able to 'disconnect' the Echo from the app so I can control what I'm listening to on my phone. All the tracks are g

Hi gang,

I recently booked some flights with Etihad, direct with the airline, from Australia to France via Abu Dhabi. The booking was only made 4 days ago, and the outbound flights are on Christmas Eve / Christmas Day. When I booked them, the vast majority of seats in economy class were available. However, now when I go to book the exact same route and dates, I can only select business class seats for the outbound flights.

I wanted to keep an eye on full the plane gets over the coming weeks so I can set both mine and my family's expectations of the flight being cancelled or not, as I'm travelling half-way around the world on Christmas Day and the seats were almost all vacant 1 month prior.
