As you all know, Amazon just axed the new show and right now many people are talking about raising our voice on X about this (Most prominent example is This tweet by Micheal Shanks). But many people either do not remember or know that this has been done before. You see, this isn't the first time this happened. Amazon was planning on renewing the series in 2018-2019, and axed it later on, and prominent figures in the Stargate community (especially u/JosephMallozzi) gave us the exact same advice: raise your voice on Twitter. So the #WeWantStargate tag was born, and along with many other tags a tweetstorm around 250k tweets w

My family used to run a publishing house in Europe years ago. We still have around 80k unsold books in our storage, (~140 titles), mostly crime novels in our local language.

The books are already printed and paid for long ago, they have all the government mandated banderoles, ISSN's etc. so this is more about monetizing dead inventory and reclaiming storage space than running a normal publishing business.

I was considering Amazon FBA because I do NOT want to deal with shipping individual FBM orders every day.

My idea was to start small by sending maybe 10 copies each of around 50 titles and then grow or shrink the business depending on the initial test.

However, I keep reading horror st

Spoilers ahead:
Lets recap the episode a little: A Bedrosian sicentist called Nyan and his entire country believes in something that is factually wrong, and they are at war with another country that is actually right. The mere arrival of SG-1 through the Stargate instantly refutes the Bedrosian thesis and proves their enemy correct.
While every other Bedrosian including the scientists choose denial or covering it up (by killing SG-1 and burying the Stargate), Nyan does the opposite. He updates his beliefs when faced with contradictory evidence and delivers a bomb of a quote every scientist with ethics should live by:

“I am a scientist. Having my theories refuted is just as exciti

So, imagine this: classic McKay energy.

He’s on a planet with a very sensitive science council. McKay "politely"(!) points out a calculation error in the head scientist’s work and gets arrested for insulting them. Sentence: 3 years in prison.

Sheppard panics. Ronon sharpens something. Teyla sighs. They call Woolsey, who insists diplomacy is better than a rescue mission, so he comes with Zelenka. Zelenka proves McKay was right, and the court clears him… but then drops the twist:

Court Clerk:

“Your friend has already served his sentence.”

Sheppard:

“That’s impossible, it’s been like… a minute.”

Court Clerk:

“Our prisons operate at an accelerated cognitive ratio of 1,576 to 1.”

TL;DR: My MSI 240mm AIO is running super hot (95°C, even at medium loads) and making gurgling noises. Some users have fixed this by draining, cleaning, and refilling it, but it may require yearly maintenance. Instead of dealing with that, I’m considering switching to a Thermalright Phantom Spirit air cooler since a 240mm AIO isn’t much better anyway.

Should I bother cleaning/refilling my AIO, or just switch to the air cooler and forget about it?
