This is going to be another one of those long tearful thank yous. I'm kinda drunkish right now and I was looking back through the subreddit's top for this week and saw the artist collab and it brought back so many fond memories that I honestly got choked up a little bit.

Standard TPP intro: I've started here with Red, gone through Crystal, Emerald, and "ended" with FireRed. I got kind of burned out from that run plus life got in the way, so I didn't check back on TPP in a while. Bored one day, I looked through the sub and saw all these nice works of art and lore (especially comics that really fleshed out characters and gave them personality) and a community that had gotten closer together a

There are no downsides to catching pokemon now and filling up/nearly filling up our team. Some people don't want to catch crap pokemon, but there's no reason why delaying buying pokeballs would lead to better pokemon if at all. Wild pokemon will always be underleveled compared to Skitty and Surskit.

Filling our team now has the additional benefit of helping us survive longer when our best pokemon die and we can grind the "trash" pokemon/cannon fodder easier now rather than later with grass having similar leveled pokemon. The empty slots were the direct cause for Skitty and Surskit's overleveledness.

A FEW OVERLEVELED POKEMON IS NOT GOOD. We will end up with the M4 situation all over again.
