I own a recent new house built by Lennar with a kitchen-window bump-out. The plumbing for the kitchen sink seems to have taken a strange path. (PIC A+B)
Instead of jutting straight into the wall behind the sink which is centered below the window, it juts horizontally from underneath the sink cabinet heading into the adjacent space meant for the dishwasher, where it intrudes for about 3 inches when doing a 45 degree bend into the wall where I apparently it runs horizontally for a few more feet to the vertical drain and vent pipe behind the next cabinet to the right. (dashed lines in PIC C).
As you can imagine, this reduces the space for the dishwasher by about 1.5 - 2 inches, and the dish
