I have been building my emergency fund the last few months and am finally at a place where I can start investing in my Roth! It was so satisfying filling the first 500 in the account and I used 400 to buy VTI and 100 to buy VXUS as I am doing an 80 domestic/20 international strategy. I’ve been working towards being able to save for retirement for a while now and just seeing those shares hit my account was a crazy amount of dopamine, even if my overall strategy is very bogleheads and boring hahaha.

It all starts with the small wins right? :)

Anyone going? Let’s get a group together!! Assuming I get this ticket 🥲

Hello all,

My internet has been working well for everything but gaming (specifically Rocket League) and it seems to be a latency during upload speed issue. My latency during download works well, I spent 2 hours on the phone with my ISP and they suggested the issue is related to my hardware rather than their service. I have cloudfare internet test results if needed.

Can anyone help with any potential fixes? Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone! I’m 21M looking for a July 1 12 month lease somewhere in Brooklyn, with a budget of around 1400 for a room. I would be open to moving in with an existing roommate group, or finding roommates to search with! I start a full time position July 14 so definitely urgently looking for housing! Some facts about me:

• I love fitness/sports, especially volleyball and basketball
• I also love gaming and spend most of my nights in the house gaming with my friends
• LGBTQ+ friendly, 420 friendly, pet friendly (if you have a cat you get priority :) )
• In office 3 days a week, WFH Mondays and Fridays.
• Looking for kind and considerate roommates and w

Hey all, if you play rocket league drop your discord in the comments! Looking to make a team for CRL quals. Feel free to dm me as well. You must be an active student!

So basically title. My roommate installed an external lock on her door (without telling my other roommate, me, or the landlord) and basically just keeps the cat locked in there whether she is home or not. I feel bad cuz I pass the door and hear her knocking on the door and meowing really loudly. We have another cat in the household, but she hasn’t tried to do an introduction and she’s had the cat for 3 months now. I just feel really bad for the cat at this point 😭😭. Additionally, I have only met the cat once and she once refused to let my partner meet the cat because “the cat has the sniffles”.

I am looking for a room to stay in from June 15 - August 11. The closer to midtown Manhattan, the better!
