Hoping to get some advice from the community. Our analytics & AI company is targeting health plan leaders, especially MCOs and community health plans (CIOs and the IT org are our champions, but COO / operations, provider, and CFO part of the orgs feel the pain of the problems we solve). I feel like this community is a lot of hospitals and providers. Where do the health plan / health insurance folks hang out on Reddit or in general on the internet or in person? LinkedIn seems kind of sparse also. Thanks in advance for the advice!
Edit: /healthinsurance would be the obvious sub but that is more on the patient side, patients trying to figure out health insurance coverage and cost sharing.
I may have to go in pregnancy bed rest but I’m running a company. The important part is being horizontal, not actual rest. I don’t know much about AR glasses but are the capabilities good enough these days that they could substitute for a computer monitor such that I could arrange peripheral devices on a lap desk and use the glasses as a monitor? Appearance isn’t that important vs responsiveness and the ability to do work (email, slack, coding, ms office etc). I’ve done some research but it seems a lot of them are geared towards gaming. Would love any thoughts on good options!
We put in these new cabinets and window that opens into a deck. We love it but I can't decide what to do with this wall. I don't want to make something look weird with the walnut looking beam that is up, which I like but kind of overpowers the area.
We pretty much have enough storage now so I'm not looking to turn it into a busy wall with a bunch of hanging kitchen stuff, but I may want to put some cookbooks or wine bottles on display (we think bar glasses and such would be too busy). It's off to the side from the stove but I use it for baking and cooking overflow. I've considered just putting some art there, but am somewhat leaning towards corner shelves like [these](https://www.etsy
I've been looking at SO many wedding dresses and there's this one that just jumped out to me on Poshmark. I think it's because it covers the shoulders and I could see myself feeling very comfortable in it, but it's also sexy. The problem is that it's not for sale anymore and I can only find one that's two sizes too large. I know alterations could be done, but wondering if it would be too extreme or if it's doable.

I've been disqualified from a few startup discounts and incubator programs because I've been incorporated since 2018. These programs I think are intending to get startups who are in the early phases and could most benefit from the discounts and support.
However, I didn't start running the business full time until 2019. And the first several years were just independent consulting and saving up so we could build some IP and commercialize products. We just started building a great product this year, and I recently applied for an SBIR. I've had ideas in the past, but not enough capital to carry them. Now that I've reinvested some of the services revenue, I have enough to take some risks wi

Hi Looker-ites (?),
I'm Looking (sigh) for a Looker expert to help with a project for a healthcare technology organization. I need someone with at least a year of solid work in Looker. Healthcare experience is a plus but definitely not required (mainly because of familiarity with all the privacy rules). I'm an experienced data scientist /consultant so will be helping with all of the other work (defining requirements, building materialized views or ETLs if needed, etc). I have a lot of experience in most of the other BI platforms but I'm completely new to Looker and so need someone who can hit the ground running. It would be a full time contractor position probably starting in late Ja
I'm working on a project that uses Google cloud SQL (mysql 5.7) and the data is beginning to scale to a point that queries can be pretty slow. The biggest challenge is with one large history table that has more than 20M records and some fields capture free text. The BI tools are built directly on the SQL database. There are good indexes and optimized SQL queries, so it works o-k for the most part, but we're starting to build summary tables to speed up some of the queries. That would help, but will also introduce a bunch of new ETLs and technical debt to manage. I'm wondering if we are at a point that migrating to bigQuery would be the right thing to do. Does anyone have experience making
Hi clinical genetics community, I'm a healthcare data scientist but have very little experience working with genomic datasets. I was wondering if anyone could help with a question related to the typical formats and repositories for clinical genomics data in a health system setting. Does anyone work for a hospital or health system that could shed light? For example, I know that typically specific panels are ordered like perinatal or breast cancer screening. Do those results come back with a variant file or does it typically function as a lab result transaction? Also, I know some health systems are working with genomics partners like Color and Helix; in that case, do the health systems ge
I liked the idea of stitch fix but it's pricey, and similar outfits can be pieced together on amazon. So I started this website to have something that has curated outfits but where everything is amazon prime and has good ratings and more budget options as opposed to these Nordstrom fashion blogs. I don't want to violate policies so let me know if anyone's interested in the link or has ideas about how something like that could be useful (I think Prime Wardrobe will be coming soon but I'm not sure if there's so much a fashion / coordination component as opposed to easier way to return items). Just genuinely interested in whether people think something like this would be useful. Thanks! Up
