Hello! This question is more directed at creators who were not born in, or are not living in, an English-speaking country but create content in English. But if you are a viewer, please also share your opinion because both sides are important.
I am planning on starting a channel, and I have always thought about it in English because, besides lifestyle content, I also want to be able to share my art and other things I create, and I feel like speaking in my native language will limit access to it.
My English is not perfect, however, it feels like another reason to do this in English and be able to practice and improve eventually.
My main goal is to create a community and my own corner on t
I'm not trying to start an argument about this topic. I know there are people with strong opinions about this, and I respect that. I just want to get more educated about it, and this seems like the best place for that.
For a long time now, I've heard that faux leather is worse for the environment than real leather products. Because it's basically plastic. I also heard that leather is a byproduct of the meat industry, so it's not like the animal is being raised for that purpose. HOWEVER, I clearly understand that there's still an animal that suffered and died, and at the end of the day, we're wearing somebody's skin. If we really think about it.

hello everyone! For context, I'm planning on growing my social media accounts professionally. I work in creative fields so I always wanted to use my real name to build up a brand. Also I can't decide on one niche, I just want to be freely creative that's why I thought that a personal name would be the best choice.
I'm not planning on sharing anything controversial so being linked to these accounts are not a concern to me when it comes to my professional life. The problem is: I've been reading so much about cybersecurity that I am now a bit paranoid. Should I use my real name if I want to grow an online presence? I tried nicknames but they feel a bit distant comparing to my real name.

I lost my baby boy almost 3 months ago. The day I told my friends, everyone was very supportive and sent me comforting messages. One friend kept asking me almost daily how I was feeling. A couple asked me once, a few days later. What hit me today was that in a large group of close friends, in 3 months, some of them never asked even once if I was doing okay.
I'm not the type of person who will tell you how miserable I am, but everyone knew what I was going through, and I can't help it but it makes me really sad that some never asked even once.
I try to act normal and happy when we are together. 1) I want to distract myself 2) I don't want to bring the mood down. But it doesn't mean I'm ov
For context, my puppy died two months ago. It was so sudden and such a shock for us that I wasn't sure what to do and we end up burying him at a family's friend backyard. It was also Saturday night and there's not much services available where I live, at least from what I know.
I now regret it every day because he didn't know that place and his body is alone there. I don't visit because I'm not that close to this person, I assume I can ask but still...
I'm afraid to ask for exhumation, I don't even know if anyone does it here. I don't know what to do, I feel guilty for not cremating him or not burying him somewhere he knew. I heard their souls are not attached to the place their body is,
For context, I've been working in product design for 6+ years. I feel like I have a lot of experience from working on different projects with different clients, but my company has a very small design team, so everything I learned was by searching online and trying to understand how more experienced designers from well-known companies work. It's not easy to filter through all that information, especially when you don't have someone more experienced to guide you. What would you recommend to improve my skills? I want to get better at solving problems and coming up with better strategies. I'd also like to improve my Figma workflow — even though I consider myself fairly experienced, my work still
I've been navigating grief for over a month now. Sometimes it gets a bit easier; sometimes I'm back to 0. There are days filled with good memories of my pup, and I'm grateful for the time we spent together; other days are filled with guilt for not being able to do more, to keep him alive and healthy. I'm always missing him. He was the best boy. My pure joy.
I put so much pressure on myself because I wanted to give my absolute best. Now that everything went wrong, I can't forgive myself for not being able to keep him here.
I lost my other dog last year due to a chronic condition, and I felt guilty too. This time I ran to the vet every time I noticed something different. I wouldn't repeat
Recently, I've been consuming a lot of "underconsumption" content, and I really want to save more money. Not only that, but I also feel overwhelmed by the number of things I own. I'm grateful I have the opportunity to buy everything (or almost) I want, but at the same time I think I just bought a lot of things that brought me temporary joy and now I don't know where to store them.
My biggest temptation is makeup. And I don't wear makeup daily anymore because I work mainly from home. I just love makeup and because of that, I consume a lot of reviews and hauls. The problem with makeup products is that there's always something new and exciting on the market, almost every day. "I don't need ano

I've been quite active on this sub for a month, since I lost my 1y pup. I'm very grateful for everyone who shared their story and kind words, it really helped a lot.
I don't have another option besides accepting this new reality but some days sadness really hits me.
How do you accept an unexpected loss of a young pet? How do you deal with it and how unfairly their life was cut short? My pup was so happy, everyone loved him so much, everyone smiled at him, he had so much energy and life. He was perfect. I can't cope with this loss. He was (and still is) so loved, had all the comfort we could provide and could've have it for so many years. He deserved a good life and he had it, but it sho
