1. 2015 Epiphone ES-335 Pro - Added Kluson-style locking tuners, a B6 (with a B3 hinge, of course), a Towner tensioner, and old Teisco knobs that look like a tattoo on my arm.
2. 2014 Epiphone Matt Heafy Les Paul Custom - Added Gotoh locking tuners, Gotoh tune-o-matic and stop, gold rings on top of the pup mounts, and gold reflector knobs.
3. 2010 Fender Jim Root Telecaster - Came from eBay with an American Deluxe neck, who am I to complain? I changed the pickguard to black and the knob to knurled chrome.

One of my favorite guitars is my Matt Heafy Les Paul. I've always meant to change the hardware to gold, but I had a hard time finding a new gold Epiphone bridge + stopbar. I know there are many great bridges to choose from but I needed to stay under $100.

I've had great experiences with Gotoh hardware, but I was still very curious just how bad no-name hardware from Amazon could be. This week I bought a $14 Mobiz Tune-o-matic and a $28 Gotoh Tune-o-matic. I'm glad I bought both, and here's why.

I heard it in a YouTube demo for a Deusenberg guitar and recorded the main bit as best I could while ignoring the loud narration.

With some console command anglery I finally plugged that godforsaken hole in Taffington Boathouse's roof. Second angle.

Still doesn't do much for rain :/

...and I'm here to tell you that you should make the purchase. I had my Truck for one month before it plummeted off my desk to its (temporary) death on my hardwood floor. I miss it every time I take a battery off the charger.
