I use the Silence Detection to remove silence out of my recordings. Since they are usually 5+ hours long this helps a lot to trim down editing time, but one issue is I don't always talk when something happens I want to show, like in moments where I focus or something that makes me speechless.
Currently I just press T for the trim edit mode, extend the clip to roughly where the next one starts (so the one I talk again and the automatic cut happened) and try to patch it together, but I wondered if there is an option to select 2 clips and "re-insert" what was cut out between the 2 with the press of a button. As if the cut never happened and everything between the 2 that was cut out is brought
I have a ticket that allows me to go from Wednesday to Sunday, but it feels excessive to go for 5 days. But I also have no clue how much changes per day. My intention is to go starting on Wednesday, but I am not sure how long to stay. Any recommendations for those that have been there a lot and can compare the individual days?
I mean the adjustment clip that allows you to use effects and they apply on the footage without you having to cut it apart to limit the range of where the effects apply to.
I have for example a segment here where I'd want to bump up audio by quite a bit since I'll be quiet, but I'd have to cut out everything and put the music at the bottom on a seperate track since I don't want to change it (it's static in each video).
For some reason the app decides to adjust my master output level on it's own and I don't know how to change it. At first it was also input gain, but after disabling control in audio settings of windows, turning it off in Discord and Steam, it never happened again.
The Master Output Level still does though. I did some testing and finally realized it happens when there are really loud sounds around me. The 2% happened because I had a hairdryer with me which is close to the microphone. But even just right now after putting it to 100 and typing on my keyboard, it went down to 88%.
I have my windows mic volume on 30% and my logitech g hub input settings at 30%. So yes it's a "duh" moment of 10% volume, but if I go any higher my voice peaks. I don't know if it's the right word, but it sounds like the voice is cracking and falling apart if I am a bit louder, laugh or even just excited. Like a mic from 2000 when kids are screaming into it. And that's the reason I had to lower the volume this much.
