I haven’t seen this discussed, but I received an email on Oct 9 from forever and always bridal about a data incident of VERY SENSITIVE INFORMATION. I didn’t even end up shopping here - I found my dress beforehand. All I paid was the deposit for a fitting. I’m so sick of having my data leaked by companies - Optus, Qantas, now this. Here’s an except of the email -

For those of you that we have not contacted so far, are writing to inform you of a data security incident that may have affected your personal and payment information, and to let you know what we are doing in response.

What Happened

On or early today, we became aware of a security incident involving a thir

Does anyone have any pics of the amazingly decorated Christmas bus stop in Reid? I wish I'd had my phone on me when I walked past it. It was so much fun and I can't work out how to describe it to people.

How do I choose my pups next bed? He’s going to grow out of his cheap puppy one in a month or two. He loves my bed socks and sinking into blankets, so I was thinking a flat soft one with one side velvety. But he’s also getting cold but I don’t know if he’ll like high edges. He likes hanging his head over the edge of things. But is there one that’s plush and gives him the ability to hang over it without getting him cold? He’s a small boy.

Puppy sleeping through night/attachment advice

Puppy Management - No Crate Advice

I got my tiny little puppy a few days ago. He’s doing so well and I’m super proud of him. But I cannot get him to chill when I leave the room or sleep through the night. He gets really worked up to the point of overheating/dry nose/panting - and I’m also in an apartment so I can’t let him make that much noise. He’s got a pop up crate which he hated because he hates things over his head but is already starting to like. I can get him to about 2 hours sleep but he wakes up scared. The poor thing is getting overtired and I can see him waking himself up. Any advice?

Wild through chapter 1 reread

Fourth Wing Spoilers

I’m just listening to chapter 1 after reading and reread the book. It hits differently hearing it (especially hearing Mira’s doubt and how toxic all these people were to Violet to have her thinking she was so weak). It’s a crazy thought, but I was wondering if Violet is a “marked one” in her own way. If her mum is good, which a lot of theories suggest, maybe she was also marked a a betrayer through her daughter. Maybe part of the reason she wants Violet to go to the Rider Quadrant is that she has to or risk being revealed. Thoughts?

Ch 1-4 Reread

SpoilerTheory

I'm reread Fourth Wing after spending time reading some of the theories out there. Here's what I've noticed so far:

  • The Is Lilith Sorrengail evil? debate. She protests what happens to the Tyrrish kids, but she is publicly linked with it. She says, "No child should watch their parent put to death." Ominous phrasing. Is something else foreshadowed here? Maybe something to do with Violet's Dad?
  • Is Is Lilith Sorrengail venin debate? I like the Lilith was siphoned or siphoning when pregnant with Violet theory which is what the "fever" was. When we meet her and find out about that "fever", it says: "her gaze siphons every ounce of my confidence down to the marrow in my bones". Her nam

I really want to buy Innocence from Poesie, but I can’t work out how to get it to Australia. Ajevie’s website now says you need to be an active customer. ShopMate gets terrible reviews. Any Australians or other people here who have any ideas/experience?

Polar Fantasy

Suggestion Thread

Hi, I'm looking for a polar fantasy novel. Along the lines of Philip Pullman's Northern Lights/Golden Compass or Edith Pattou's North Child. I want an an fairytale/fantasy set in an icy world! I've read Naomi Novik's Spinning Silver and Katherine Arden's The Bear and the Nightingale. I'd prefer to read something leaning more adult fantasy than YA. I love a lot of YA, but dislike a lot of the more recent books coming out. While I don't mind dark, I don't want plots that turn on violence. What have you read?

I’m planning to buy some perfumes from Nui Cobalt but I’ve noticed so big differences in peoples review of the throw. It sounds like some (She Stopped to Pet a Bumblebee and Snowshoe Hare) are lower throw and closer scents. That’s what I’m after! A perfume I can wear wrapped around me without walking down the street leaving a scent trail behind me! Which ones would you recommend to fit this?
