With the release of Hall of History, Civ VII will have 4 leaders that can represent not just the American region but the singular country of the USA: Harriett Tubman, George Washington, Ben Franklin and Lafayette (French, yes). 4 out of 29 leaders!! 13%!!! I can’t be the only one who is majorly confused by this decision especially seeing as there are so so many civilisations or regions (~15) that have no leaders attributable to them at all.

Is it because the US is their main player base?honestly. that doesn’t really make sense to me because I think that that audience should be happy enough with their selection.

I’m honestly just confused about their priorities when it comes to selecting

I’ve played (part of) until dawn, and watched playthroughs of Directive 8020/The Quarry. I find the games pretty interesting, so I thought I would try playing them on ps5.

I’ve noticed the prices are very different - Man of Medan is $30, Little Hope is $15 (on sale), House of Ashes is $40 and The Devil in Me is $60. (AUD)

Just from that, Little Hope stands out to me because it’s the cheapest, but I’m wondering if it’s a “good” (subjective, I know) game? I’m also curious about why there is such a variation for a series.

I’m coming to reddit because I don’t want to get spoiled while looking at other reviews.

I’m very new to the game, and was playing as Bohemia. There are lots of good I could not produce enough of or at all (notably, fabric). So, I built some trade centres.

I’m not sure how it works, but that didn’t. Maybe it’s because I didn’t have any merchant marines, but I’m land locked so I don’t know what to do in that situation.

I know there has been a major update to trade in the games history, but can someone let me know how it works? From my understanding I can’t directly trade for a specific good.. annoyingly.

Like most of you.. I hate this new Google Health update.

Some of the time, I walk without my watch. Whether it’s charging or I just don’t want to, I still go on a ~20 minute walk. Usually I can just log those steps back into the app and it updates my total.. but as of this new app I can’t do that. First, I can only do for today, when I try to log a previous days walk it does nothing. Second, even when I log that walk the day of.. the steps don’t update!
I’ve had a 10,000 step streak for 3 months.. and this stupid app has ruined that. I know I’ve still achieved it.. but this last fortnight has just tracked my steps wrong completely…
So
Any fixes? (The support chat was no help).

Sorry if this has already been answered, but I checked the big update poster and only saw it’s releasing May 19.

I am in Australia, so I’m just wondering if when I convert time zones it’s more like May 20 and 2:00AM (like it always is for us 😔).

In Civilisation 6, one of my favourite parts about the game was getting the achievements. They were typically pretty interesting and unique where you could base a whole playthrough of trying to get it. I was pretty disappointed in Civilisation 7 when it was only very generic achievements, essentially just win this victory or win with this leader.

I’m wondering and hoping if this new update will bring some new achievements. Especially seeing as they’re gonna have to remove the legacy path related ones. Perchance they going to add some more while they are updating the achievements

Also - does anyone have any cool achievement ideas for the game?

I’ve just bought the DLC and installed it. However it’s not enabling, and when I search for it in the DLC part of the launcher it doesn’t even come up. Can someone help? Thanks.

I’m dying over here waiting for the new update, I wasn’t able to play the workshop either. So, to anyone who did, do you remember some of your favourite or the most interesting bonuses from civs
