I didn't buy this because I was playing kingmaker which is a great game and I didnt really like the first poe game very much. They lowered the price and i snapped it up and boy was I wrong. This game does everything kingmaker does badly really really well. the environments and story immersion is so much better. the battles are not as good. I think kingmaker is one of the best games ive played for the actual game mechanics and builds. Saying that I much more feel like im playing an rpg with deadfire. the stories are good and the quirks are great. I cant get over the world though its beautifully realised. This i guess works with anything that can morph into a level 3 dragon but i used a str vivesection mastery build and obtained the belt from Tirval called the conqueror wurm. the ghost bane part: It takes advantage of a glitch where if you have the cloak of the winter wolf and greater trip you basically devour ghosts in one hit. This happens when the attack of opportunity you get after the bite and trip, bites again as bite is your main weapon (which shouldnt work with ghosts, hense the glitch). It just keeps looping until the ghost dies, so you one shot ghosts if you hit them with a bite first.
