I have a plex server setup and I'm swapping ISPs soon to better facilitate my friends actually using it but had a question about transcoding size. I'm planning to swap over to a RAM disk and I couldn't find a solid answer on size.
I have 32gb now that I will be allocating to a couple VMs but don't know how much I need allocated for Plex. Library is a mix of 1080 and 2160p so files go up to 30ish GBs right now but if I want 3 simultaneous transcodes do I need 30x3 GBs allocated?
I'm working on building a plex server from an old build but the problem I've run into is I threw out my PSU box when I moved. It is a EVGA Supernova 650 GT and I need to buy at least 1 6 pin to SATA connector and I can't determine compatibility anywhere. I know I can buy a cable from Cablemod but trying to avoid waiting 2 months and paying $50 if I can do it easier/faster.
I'm building a new computer and have a vertical graphics card in the case. I was hoping to get an L shaped cable/adapter for a 5070ti. From what I can tell CableMod doesn't offer a new cable that fits the PSU, does anyone have any recommendations?
I work for a non profit as a trainer that has a lot of ID elements. We’re starting to retool a lot of our curriculum as we enter the summer months and I have some questions for other IDs. How do you handle creating content to be taught live vs later reference material? The standard practice here is creating PowerPoints and just publishing them as pdfs. It hurts us on both fronts because our decks are wordy since they double as the reference material and they’re generally inaccessible for those using screen readers or the search function. I’d love examples on how others are handling this.
I’ve rented an apartment in St. Paul, Minnesota for almost 6 years. The roof/ceiling has failed in the last month and there is now severe water damage/mold. I’m obviously moving out but I’m wondering what can I get my landlord to pay for? I’m in the process of packing but it is making me physically ill to be in the apartment. I am already planning to have the lease cancelled as soon as I am out but can I get the landlord to pay for movers as well?
Just finished the 10km Oregon ride, it feels like the speed is way way way off. I’ve done a bunch of the other distance rides and comparably it felt like I wasn’t moving even at 20mph. Anyone else experience this?
In TBCC is there a reason for people to not be able to xfer PvE to PvP? I decently understood it in classic but it feels like such a pointless restriction now.
I know the tbc xp curve changes drastically for 1-60 and was hoping someone had a table/formula to figure out how much xp you need for any given level. Much appreciated!
Maybe it is just my local store but recently my chalupa shells haven't been fried. Did they make a change?
I've acquired a very large collection of unsorted cards, I was hoping for some guidance about best practices for sorting them. I help teach a class at my school and will end up making a couple dozen decks and a cube out of the cards. Is there a basic system to use besides color and mana curve? If anyone has any advice please let me know, if anyone in St. Paul/Minneapolis wants to help sort feel free to reach out!
I'm currently working on my second license (special education) after getting my social studies license 3 years ago. I am wondering if I should be gearing up for a second round of the edTPA or if I don't need to do it. I'm in Minnesota and I can't find any information about it at all!
