Hi all, I'm an American who has never been to London before. I'll be travelling there for business in a couple of weeks, but unfortunately I'll be in in all-day meetings and will only have one night free to see what I can of the city.

Can anybody suggest cool stuff I could do solo on a London evening, after maybe 6 pm or so? I'm staying near Heathrow if that matters.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Although I remain a Tesla fan, I unfortunately had to cancel my Model 3 reservation because my old car started to die before my spot in line arrived.

I was amazed at how fast the refund of my deposit was processed, I thought you guys might be interested to hear. I submitted the request on Saturday evening and the money is in my checking account today. I didn't even think the banks were capable of doing it that fast.

I've got a 2010 Audi A4, and in recent months both my power seats and my sunroof have stopped working. I'd like to get these things fixed, because I intend to drive this car a while longer.

I'm not sure what kind of place that I should take the car to for these repairs. Presumably that kind of fix is more than what would be done at a typical maintenance place that would change oil and tires? Do I take it to a body shop, even though there's no body work to be done?

I just don't want to take it to the dealership, because they're going to charge me a fortune for work on a nearly decade-old car.

Thanks!

I'm about to enter a college degree program with the financial assistance of my company. I'm already aware that under both versions of the tax bill the first $5250 of the tuition reimbursement will become taxable to me, which is unfortunate. However I'm more concerned about a potentially larger problem.

Does the tax bill still allow my employer to deduct the expense of giving me the tuition reimbursement? If not, they may reconsider whether they will even offer this benefit going forward.

My wife and I live in the Chicago suburbs and have been considering moving to a new home. One option that was recently suggested to us was buying an empty lot and building a new home, which we had not considered.

We're not wealthy by any means, but we have two good incomes so I'm pretty sure we're not in "if you have to ask how much it costs you can't afford it" territory, but we might be in "you won't want to afford it" territory. :)

I'm not sure how to go about finding out whether this is a realistic option for us and I'd rather not drag us into a "consultation" with some specific home builder, especially since we don't have any idea which home builders are reputable.

Hey everybody-

I've got a 2010 A4 that I bought new back in 2009, and I bought a second set of wheels for snow tires that I used to swap on and off each year. I don't have the time or space for those anymore, so I'm switching to just keeping one set of wheels with all-weather tires.

I'm not sure what to do with my second set of wheels, I heard that there may be some interest from people looking for a set of wheels for the track. Can anybody point me towards a good place to ask around for this?

The wheels are the ASA GT1 and the tires currently on them are Michelin X-Ice Xi2.
