Like the title says, I'm looking to buy two one seater, motorized recliners for my parents. I've visited Little Nap, Sleep company, Wooden Spoon, Wakefit and Rajraghwala and shortlisted a few and was planning to pull trigger on Sleep Company Luxe recliner but read about their horrible support and hesitation to honor warranty. My requirements are:
Slightly wider than usual seating area (all models I've seen had 17-19 inch but I'm looking for around 20-22 inch)
I'm an NRI visiting my home in Indore after couple of years. In the last 2 months I've been here, I've seen several examples of people lacking civic sense. I've seen people dumping garbage in empty plots (Indore banega no. 1), people jumping red lights, driving on the wrong side, honking excessively, or parking blocking pathways/entrances, watching reels or taking calls on loud speaker in public places, encroaching roads and plots with temples and general dadagiri/netagiri by yuva netas claiming to be from the sanatani party.
But today something happened that prompted me to write this post. I work during night shift and usually take calls between 10PM - 2 AM. It's usually chaotic

First time home buyer here. I got an accepted offer last week for 830k on a townhouse in lower mainland BC. After shopping around for rates for while, I was offered these rates by True North:
5 year Variable – 6.15% (prime – 1.05%)
5 year variable (Open ) - 7%
1 year fixed – 6.8%
3 year fixed – 5.34%
5 year fixed – 5.19%
True North said they would need more time and documents for a firm approval but RBC came back with a firm approval overnight.
I asked RBC to match prime - 1.05 but they said the best they could do was prime - 0.9 plus some 1.5k cashback and a line of credit against the mortgage. I make around 160k before taxes and was approved for 655k mortgage for 25 year amortization, a
