Most fighting game sweats will likely disagree, and I get why, but unless this game is going for the pinnacle of competitive balance (dont think it is) I really think no co-op is a missed opportunity.

They even sort of mislead people by posting on their website that there would be co-op, yet on launch, nothing, and their website FAQ confirms the opposite now. I basically passed on 2xko to wait for this game hoping to do some sort of co-op fighting with a friend where we control people on the same team but I guess I was waiting for a single player 4v4 game this whole time lol

We expected to be able to play ranked whenever we wanted, that’s why a lot of has have been grinding in the first place (i have 30+ hours)

A lot of us work on weekends. A lot of us work all week so we need our weekends for having a life with friends and family. All of us paid for Marathon… this decision to only have ranked on the weekends is going to alienate the regular, working people with friends and families who can only game when time allows for it.

Considering the population of this game isn’t too high as is, this decision will undoubtedly negatively impact both player count, retention, and queue times.
