Camry charging issue.

Question (Serious Replies Only)

2015 Toyota Camry SE automatic with 60K. Driven 3 to 4 times a week around 60 miles round trip at highway speeds. Replaced the battery 18 Mos. ago otherwise has been bulletproof.

Went out to start it the other day and it clicked a few times and then nothing. Left the trunk lid open the night before and thought maybe the light might have drained the battery. Jumped started it and drove it for about an hour on the freeway and came home. Turned it off and tried to start it and got a few clicks again.

Battery charger I have has a alternator test feature on it (don't know if I trust that or not) and said it was good. Had battery tested and that came back good. When I jump start it it fires up i

Putting down some landscape block work and I have a couple of inch thick roots from my 25 yr old flowering crabapple running right though my trench I'm putting block in. About six feet from the base of the tree. Will cutting these kill the tree?

Iron fitting question

Equipment Discussion

I've been playing for about a year now and am at a 25 according to 18birdies. Played my last rounds of the year this week and have been thinking about getting some new irons so I scheduled a fitting yesterday. (Save the lecture. I know the money would be better spent on lessons, I know my swing is not repeatable enough. I'm old, I have the money and I wanted new clubs)

Went in and tried a bunch of different combos and settled on the Mizuno 925 Hot Metals. The part I had a question about was when the fitter asked me where most of my misses were I told him off the toe and the Trackman and tape confirmed that. I know that's a swing issue but he suggested trying a. 5 longer shaft and I immediat

Have my surgery scheduled about three weeks out. Cataracts aren't really bad but, in consultation with my regular eye doctor, decided to get it over with now rather than later. I'm wavering between the standard blade surgery and the laser and came out of my consultation a bit confused.

My goal at the end of surgery is to be free of glasses and rely on readers for close up vision. My prescription says nothing about astigmatism. No number values in the axis box and SPH in the cylinder box. At my consultation, the surgeon tells me I have borderline astigmatism and if I don't use the laser, I will probably still need glasses for normal vision. She seemed to be kind of wavering on that point so

Started golfing last year and have been playing three or four times a week. Bought a Tour Edge set last year and they've served me well but I want to upgrade my irons. I've talked myself into the Callaway Max Elyte Maxfasts as they seem good for a slower swing speed and game improvement. When I'm on Reddit, all I hear the constant drumbeat of "get fitted"

Here's the deal. I'm 65 with garbage shoulders and elbows due to a lifetime of abuse. I'm in very good shape for my age but, let's face it, the clock is ticking. I don't want workability or anything advanced. I just want better distance and forgiveness. I shoot 95 to 100 consistently and if I can get down to 90 at some point, I'd be happy

So I retired a year and a half ago with around 14 months left on my card. It expired last spring and I'm wondering if I should have got a notice that my license had been downgraded. My state website says I should have after three months but I haven't seen anything. Anyone else ever been through something similar?

Wife and I retired last year and took up golf. Taking lessons, practice or play most days of the week. Got a membership at the executive course near us vowed to stay there until we got that down.

Well, I think that time has come. At the point where it's an iron off the tee, chip and putt. Getting kind of boring and would like to use my driver and hybrids. The problem is, the few times we've played on regulation courses with our more experienced relatives, we both get anxious when people get behind us. We've let people play through but I think we're going a little overboard due to our concern about holding others up. We've waited at the next tee box to let people finish and have them play t

Lessons advice

Beginner Questions

My wife and I are looking at lessons over the winter. We retired this year and have been hacking around the local executive course all summer and want to get out on the regular courses next year without making fools of ourselves. I golfed in my in my twenties but have not played regularly since then until this year. Wife has never golfed since this year but I actually think she has more potential than me. She regularly hits straight drives 150 yds plus with terrible form at 62yo. I can hit it around fairly good with the occasional embarrassing clunker at 64.

My question is we've looked at lessons at Golf Galaxy that are around 600 for a package of ten lessons apiece with a free swing analys

My adult son is developmentally disabled and lives with me. He attends a day program and injured his knee there. He is on Medicaid. He went to the ER for treatment and after that a few follow up visits with orthopedic docs and therapy. I'm now getting bills for the portion of the bills not covered. He has reached his deductible. Who is liable for these? I am his legal guardian.

First year with a Blackstone and it's coming up to the end of outdoor cooking season where I live. I have a hard lid and a cover for the entire thing but was wondering if anyone brought the griddle inside for the winter?

Outside temps here in winter range from 40f to - 20f. I know the cold won't hurt but I'm more concerned with temp swings and moisture buildup, especially with snow sitting on it. Just thinking it would be better in a stable environment for 4 to 5 months. Anyone do this?

Song title is"Rainy Days" I believe. By a young upright bassist with long dreads. Had it in my Amazon library but that got zapped when I bought a new phone apparently. Search yields nothing. TIA

I've been using a few other online vendors like Famous Smoke and Fox and have been generally happy but Small Batch has really been impressive since I've tried them. Really good selection, decent prices but the shipping and handling is what separates them from the rest. Ordered at 2PM Saturday in Minnesota and received Monday afternoon. Had twenty sticks in different fivers and they were wrapped in three inches of bubble wrap and individually packed with a Boveda in each. Pretty impressive. Not affiliated with them, just wanted to give some credit to a company who seems to take customer service seriously.

Just bought a new Armstrong jacket and read in the reviews a few people had problems getting the zipper started. I bought mine at a Carhartt store and the salesperson had to help me with the zipper to try it on. Didn't think much of it until I got home and tried to put it on later that night and spent five minutes trying to get out the door due to the zipper not starting. Anyone else had this problem and solved it or am I just resigned to returning it? Thanks in advance.
