Hi all - JT from uncSoft here - dev of cyberWriter, devPad, Anubis-OSS, Wranglify etc (my repo is here - Anubis-OSS is my popular open source benchmarking suite), shilling the mobile version of cyberWriter that took over a year to write. I am fully doxxed if you look me up. I am a Chief Analytics Officer / Data Engineer / Software Dev for 20+ years.

It just soft launched this week (no advertising) so reviews are sparse but extremely positive. It works great on iPads too, where I use it most. I am looking for feedback as well, I dont know how you use your vaults!

There is an annoying as heck bug in macOS when you are using a secondary monitor and have other macs around - if you have push through edge to control another mac on and/or screen connect active, often times your mouse will get eaten and disappear completely.

Mousetrapped is free and open source and the release is notarized and signed.

Just shake your mouse (wth adjustable sensitivity) or hit **⌃⌥⌘M**

and your mouse will pop up on your selected or primary display by default - even if it is currently controlling another mac.

I don't even care if they are closed source or only work with claude hooks. Most of us have beefy systems that are being under utilized. If they released say a 30b parameter model or multiple specialized 8b models to run in parallel for agent tasks, I bet we could save on tokens and keep the same quality and possibly run even faster.

Train quantized models on skills themselves and have their outputs match exactly what larger claude cloud models are expecting.

it's not even about saving Anthropic compute, it's about moving the bookkeeping to the edge so the cloud only does the thinking, opt-in and Claude-only.

Maybe they wouldn't have to pay Elon $1.25 billion dollars a month for compute

I write a lot of healthcare infrastructure and data flow documentation. But we can't use popular apps like obsidian because core features rely on community plugins. I built an app for my team and am trying to integrate top missing features, but I only know what I value and need. The app is sandboxed and privacy focused so we can use it freely on the network, and even has integrated local AI so we can use our own local models for writing assistance. What is missing from your app and what would you like to see?
