At the end of the book, >!when she is merged with Carl and goes through his inventory, she mentioned that “he has a lot of power” in there and listed a bunch of items mysteriously. Does anyone have the list and what the items really are? I kinda missed a bunch of them…!<

I’m not sure if I missed anything but there were no sponsored boxes on Book 8, right? Is there an explanation for this?

The latest chapter of this journey is over and now the waiting is the only thing left. And it is the hardest part! My mind is consumed with a bunch of theories from several posts but I want to get away from it a bit and let my brain rest so it becomes fertile ground for the next fuckery to come.

How are you guys distracting yourselves while we wait? A friend suggested Mark of The Fool and I’m giving it a try but it feels like childplay after voraciously reading and listening all DCC books in the past few months.

What are your suggestions for other similar (is it possible?) books? I just need to feel engaged again while I wait alone in the Nothing…

...Carl had access to the Fail Safe controls after Shi-maria tattooed herself in him? Would she activate it or not?

I think nothing gave me the chills more than the scene where shi-maria inserts herself in Carl while controlling his body and mind and he is super confused the whole time. Maybe the it's a draw between that and the explosion while vulnerable in the lair of the bug God. The scene where the Naga princess is furiously stabbing him while he is regenerating. Jeez

Interesting to think that the lore of the book itself relies so much in non-corporeal characters that interacts in the story only via voice, like the AI, the chat, the warnings, the TV programs, descriptions and the narrator as if in a conversation with you. This is all a fertile ground for the audiobook creative voice to be free to create such interesting characters. It is a complete experience. I don't know. I'm high af right now

We learn a lot about changelings on B4 but I don't remember that being mentioned. Like, if they can learn new forms by touching each other (pun intended?)

On my second pass of the books, I just listened to the part where Carl removes the dead booker from his inventory and drops at Ms. Quill desk and I thought: "wouldn't the npcs find super weird that a corpse showed out of nowhere?" Like is that mechanics widely accepted in the universe? Where an item can be produced out of thin air?

!Do we know if Grimaldi is really dead?!< Carl suspects this on book 2 but I don't remember any confirmation coming afterwards...

Read all the books and now I'm listening for the first time and thought there might be some items that haven't been fully used or not used at all so far. At least as far as I remember... I'm still on the first book listen but one item I can think of is Donut's scratch lottery ticket from a Lucky Bastard box. I think it hasn't been used yet? Carl's lottery ticket also hasnt been fully used right? What other items are out there still waiting to fulfill their destiny, if ever?

Can a man kiss a person and allow the same person to sucks his penis without condom? Or is only OK to kiss but the man has to use a condom for the receiving oral part? (Sorry if hte question is confusing, I am bit high right now)

Thinking about moving from calm Kits to busy Downtown and I’m curious to hear from people at the neighborhood as I’m worried about safety and homelessness around the area.

I am going through a bit of a rough patch, maybe first world problems I don't know...

Bit of background, my wife and I are immigrants in Canada. I convinced her this was good move for our quality of life and it was a struggle for her in the beginning but she slowly adjusted and we have settled here for the last 5 years. Most of it has been great but every now and then we think about moving back to our home land because we miss family.

Recently we decided to extend our stay for a couple years more and buying a condo was part of that plan. That's where is the catch.

We started with a budget and matched our expectations to that and even had an offer acc
