I haven't seen it mentioned here, so I'll share a "hidden" seed harvesting method.

Equip the Flame Sword and a Bow. Stay on a harvestable crop. Aim down by tapping a button; there's no need to hold it. You will instantly gather seeds.

This method is much fatser compared to the long sword animation, and it does not consume RP.
