Yesterday near Baden I saw what I am 95% sure was a juvenile Bald Eagle. It was definitely not a Turkey Vulture or an Osprey which are the only other large birds I know of in the area. The only nesting pair I am aware of are in Ayr, whose hunting range doesn't quite reach that far, but a juvenile may be trying to find new territory.
Either way, the eagles are certainly doing better. I went 20 years in SW Ontario with one confirmed sighting, and I have had 4 in the last two years, with this being a possible fifth.
Surely I'm not the only one to run into this, but surely there is a better way to organize your local model files than using a traditional file structure. I keep having to search for the file I downloaded, trying to remember its name or where it made sense to me to store it.
Is there a tool with a Media Player like interface where I can load and tag all my models, then search on them later? Especially if I can have custom tags for things like makes, so when my sister asks me if I can make a second one of the cute succulent pot I made for her two years ago I have a chance of finding it.
So Tik Tok originally agreed to sponsor the team for two years. One has to think between the tv series and all the publicity, they are more than making up their investment (the top 6 PL teams sponsors pay about 40 million pounds, the rest of the PL sponsors pay 1-10 million. One presumes TikTok paid well less than half a million (this is a pure guess. I can't find a number anywhere, but it couldn't have been more than that for a National League club) and are getting more visibility that all but the top PL clubs.
So when the deal expires, who do you think will be the sponsor and for how much? The top candidates to me are
- TikTok again
- Disney (I don't think they sponsor anyone, but if
You know those Regional Chairs you may have voted in. If they don’t suit Doug Ford, he’s going force then out and replace them with his people.
reddit.com/gallery/yxto3nI have a 2.5' deep pond, and usually leave my goldfish out over winter with no problems, but this summer I had a lot more fry survive than usual (usually I get dragonfly nymphs that feed on the fry, but they never laid eggs this year). I have about 40-50 one inch long fry. Anyone know if they will hibernate fine, or do I need to bring them inside this year?
I'm in Ontario and keep a hole in the surface with a bubbler and heater and will probably taper and stop feeding them in mid-October if the temperatures hold out the way it is expected.
So if you drive or walk or take the #2 bus through Forest Heights, on Driftwood Drive from about 194 to 262 there is a row of larger houses, each of which has it's own design aesthetic. Some of them are 70s contemporary, one looks like a chalet style, one is pop, some of them are more traditional large home. The weird part is that none of them fit with anything else in the style in and around that part of Forest Heights. A lot of them have also had their outside cladding redone in the last 7-10 years, so some of the differences are less striking than they used to be. I'll drop some Google maps links in a comment. They are easier to see in the winter pictures, as the trees block the fronts i

inksmith.ca/blogs/news/can-you-3d-print-this-...I started playing eight days ago, at the request of my son. Last Tuesday I got a shiny Swinub. Today I got a shiny Chimchar. He's been playing for a year and has yet to see a shiny. I think he may hate me.
I have had my ender for about 5 months. It is mostly stock, with the aluminum extruder and capricorn tubing. In that time, I have had several cycles of prints being good, then suddenly getting bad. After tearing apart the printer, and cleaning everything out, the prints get back to great quality again for another month and a half, then slowly degrade.
This last month, I've started doing preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis. Tightening belts, making sure the extruder gear is clean and the z rod is lubricated. For the first time, I am printing without problems.
It is a little thing, and it is tempting to think that if it ain't broke, don't fix it, but keeping on top of your prin
Has anyone printed the alcoves in OpenLock triplex? Bringing the files into meshmixer, it looks to me like the floor tiles are supported along the front edge fine, but at the rear, they will be floating, since the curve of the base is the same thickness as the wall part. The amount of float probably isn't that bad, since it is only one inch of cantilever, but supporting that edge should be easy.
Before I remix it, has anyone done this, or printed them and they come out fine?
I recently got a new Ender 3, and it is printing well, but I seem to be having some issues with what seems to be binding on the z-axis screw. Periodically, every cm or so, I will get a band that looks like the classic pattern from a misaligned motor. Visually it looks to me like the Z-axis could be at an angle, but it could be an illusion (I don't have a set of calipers).
I've read things that say that the motor issue has been fixed on Creality's end, but I've also seen some things that say that maybe they haven't.
I guess my best bet is to print off the spacer and install it to see if it helps, but I feel like I'm chasing a ghost here, so would appreciate any thoughts.
