So we have this really simple little product that draws 50mA on 5V previously designed with a USB micro connector where we just connected the VBUS and GND for power. I've now been ordered to redesign it with a USB type C connector instead.

Is connecting the four VBUSes and four GNDs enough or do I need to do something else with the remaining pins?
