I just received an email that my kids school had a covid19 exposure and will be closed for a week for cleaning. The letter advises that another letter and phone call will be happening to advise any close contacts of the exposure.

My question is pretty much, anyone know how long it takes to get that after the initial general notification? Are we required to self isolate until such a time? Or self isolate until we get tested? The letter doesn't really give much guidance on this.

I've made a week before, so definitely not out of 5he woods yet. Always amazed how good I start feeling around this point. Easier to breath, way more energy. It's shocking how much cigarettes take from you, and how subtly they do it.

I'm 24 hours without a smoke, again. I've made this milestone a few dozen times over the years but whatever. Feels good.

Pack a day for 24 years, with a few decent attempts at quitting ranging between 4-8 months scattered throughout here and there. Hoping this is the time I finally get it for good!

So. I had never biked on the peninsula before yesterday. I left Giant bikes, on Sackville st, and biked down to the exchange. And I dunno, I had always figured for some reason it takes ages to bike across the city. It takes really no time at all.

I don't know what the point of this post is, other than to say wow I am shocked at how quick you can cross the city via bike!
