I might have a dumb question. I have a gui picker in the form of a .json. Any time I’ve tried to use it, it says “unrecognized file type” (I have Maya 2022). I’ve never tried to plug a .json before so I’m unfamiliar with how to import them

This has been an ongoing thing for weeks maybe months now and I don’t really know how to talk about it other than rambly nonsense. I’m kind of over being single, but feeling like (and especially admitting) I want to be in a relationship kind of makes me feel like a complete idiot
I’m 31 and haven’t technically been in a relationship in twelve years. I don’t consider myself to have been in a proper relationship at all. I don’t and haven’t been dating for a collection of reasons, but just watching from the sidelines… it’s pretty evident the dating scene is all but scorched earth. Like men are generally becoming a net negative. Between this sort of “return” of celibacy, the 4B movement, all th

This week has been an absolute trip (to me at least) to be a black woman. This is probably the most politically thoughtful I’ve ever been: I was gonna read the entirety of Project 2025, of Agenda 47, waiting for democratic policy to read that too. Along with watching content I wanted to be one of the hella informed
Since Monday when they announced Kamala Harris’s potential nomination I’ve been watching them go at her, I watched the body cam footage of Sonya Massey, every news outlet so I wouldn’t be unbiased… and as a black woman, I think I’ve hit my cap. I don’t normally get triggered but to see so many people online at best say Kamala can’t win because she’s
Caveat: this is my opinion (just one, not the opinion) as a virgin woman… But can there not be this romanticizing of virgin women, please? It doesn’t feel sweet, nice, complimentary, or romantic. I cringe every time I hear someone say they prefer or want to be with a virgin woman, whether they’re a virgin themselves or not
(Also to get this out of the way, I think this way about women looking for virgin men too, but I think we agree that’s much less common so I won’t flip the genders around very often)
First a preference means you’d choose it if given the choice. If you really have no options but would pass up someone who’s only turn off to you is that they aren’t a virgin, it’s not a pr
So aside from next week being Thanksgiving, I’ll be getting my first biopsy and it’s honestly been fucking me up. I was counting on cancer screening at some point because my mom had cancer, but I didn’t expect it to be this early. Nor did I expect to be alone when all this started. It’s one of those things that seems kind of dumb in hindsight but I thought I’d be thinking about biopsies and procedures in my 40s with a husband there to support. But I’d be lying if I said the receptionists asking who’s going to drive me home after waking up and not having an answer did kind of hurt
I was already feeling kind of weird in general because of my birthday tomorrow (I consider it an annual existential crisis at this point). But I had imaging done yesterday just a precaution my dr wanted to take. But the ultrasound, turned into a mammogram, which is now turning into a I was already kind of weird in general, and then my birthday is tomorrow (I consider it an annual existential crisis at this point) so I felt weird for that. But I had imaging done yesterday just a precaution my dr wanted to take. But the ultrasound, turned into a mammogram, which is now turning into a galactomy(?) and a biopsy. And I honestly feel like I could be sick. I'm panicking probably more than I should
We're opening the floor for nominations. It's been made apparent that despite the fact 2/3 mods are men and 2/3 mods are virgins, virgin men feel they aren't represented enough. So if you fit that demographic, send a modmail or comment to either nominate yourself or someone else as a mod. You must have an active history with this subreddit
Here is the explanation I gave, for transparency. You can think it's flimsy, you can hate it, but for anyone who thinks the explanation wasn't made, here it is
So I’m in my early 30s and the last I’d say five years have been a nightmare personally speaking, so I’ve been avoiding dating for the most part. I know that in some situations it’s okay for people to meet you where you are but it’s been hard to except that this might be where I am for a while. But right as I was about to cave and try dating again… what is going on out here?
My friends are all married and I think they’re incredibly lucky. I like their husbands, I think they all found people who are great matches for them. And it’s not like I don’t believe these decent guys are out there. But I’ll be honest just being on the internet and social media and hearing the stories… it’s not that I
I get that the struggle is different. Men and women don’t generally approach dating the same way. Because of that, easier and harder can be subjective, at the very least not comparable enough to say which is worse. This isn’t an indictment so please hear me out
A lot of you guys know how shitty the messaging you get from society is. But society isn’t exactly nice to the girls either, and a lot of the time it’s so contradictory that every answer is the wrong answer. You have to be beautiful but it’s generally a bad thing to be vain or high maintenance. When something bad happens some guys will tell you it’s because you keep picking wrong, but don’t think about it too hard cause then you’re b
So pretty sure it’s no secret by now this sub is full of testosterone. But for the few of the ladies here I have some questions and kind of some things I’ve been wondering
How did you form your opinions on virginity, sex, dating, etc? Maybe before you started getting into dating and all vs after? Did you form them more from your peers, your family, media (tv and film and the internet)? What do you think should be understood more about the female/female virgin experience? Could be what you wish you understood more or wish others understood more
Genuine question and hoping for genuine answers. For the fellas, what are the things you feel separates the male experience so much from the female experience pertaining to virginity? More specifically things that are exclusively male experience. Where did you learn these things? Was it how you were raised, from media or broader society, from peers and acquaintances? So for example I don't mean something like "I'm ugly," because there's ugly women. But maybe how you relate to your appearance or were raised to think about your appearance? I'm also not talking about quanitity (something that affects men more than women), I mean strictly male. I'm asking to honestly gain perspective
Good morning, campers. Or night or whatever time it is where you are. As mentioned, here is more information o the rules, including some examples and caveats. Reply to this post with any questions or concerns and we'll answer as best we can
Rule 1: Be Kind
This should be self explanatory but just so we’re clear… we are not a hate sub. That counts for other sub members as well. Anything rude, hateful, accusatory, shaming (of any kind), threatening/harrassing, mocking, insulting, or fitting of any kind of -ism will not be tolerated here
Rule 2: Avoid Generalizations
This rule seems to be our biggest point of contention so this is how this will work. We understand people talk in ge
Does anyone have experience navigating dating and grieving? My mom died back in 2018 and my dad died early last year. It probably seems kind of early to be thinking of dating and I think I should be more put together before I do. But at the same time I’ve been single over a decade and hardly been dating since. I’ve hated the idea of dating for a long time because I just don’t like the apps, and where I live isn’t great for it. But at the same time I’ve wanted a relationship, and it’s a growing want as time goes one, especially now. I’ve been telling myself it isn’t a good idea because seeing all these profiles of guys wanting the “fun” girl, the ”cool” girl, and “not taking life to seriously
This year, and honestly the past couple of years have been absolute trash. It all started with losing my mom in late 2018. Then like a brick to the face I unexpectedly lost my dad in January of this year, further shrinking our family of five to three. I feel like I’d just been emotionally running the gamut all year. On top of that I‘ve been losing other important things too. Because of the logistic fallout of losing my parents we‘re deeeep in debt and facing the foreclosure of our house. I also had a shot at my dream job and moved to Canada for a couple months to work in studio, but some months after starting I was told I was part of the group of people basically being let go of for downsizi
