A lot of premodern building materials use stuffs like sugar, rice paste, milk and just fat in general to make adhesives. How does that not cause ant or rat or other pest infestations and deteriorate the buildings faster?
I remember seeing a trailer for a animated project from either 2024 or early 2025 that's about a lizard man soldier that gets injured and was taken into a village of animal people, and they sewed a dog head on him, and he started living in the village. I remember seeing clips from that project all the time earlier but I can't seem to find anything related to it anywhere now. Would any of you know anything about it? Thanks.
Hi, I wanted to draw a simple black and white pattern on solid wood and I want to seal it with linseed oil and then a final top coat of polyurethane (probably water based Verathane). What would be a good paint for something like this? Or would a simple marker work? And what would be the correct order to apply these materials? Thanks.
