Title says it all. Have numbness on index and ring fingertips (median nerve side). Symptoms started March 5. Both physio and PCP think it's prenator teres syndrome. EMG and nerve conduction study + hand surgeon apoointment in 2-3 weeks.

Not much out there about this condition. Anyone who's had treatment for it here?

Am a relatively beginner golfer. Came out of a range session on Tuesday with numbness on the left index finger tip, mostly on the left side. The numbness tapers down to the base of the big knuckle on the hand. If you've ever had local anesthesia before (e.g. cut your hand or before a dental procedure), it's that same feeling.

There's some wrist discomfort and elbow discomfort but nothing too crazy.

The numbness is quite concerning. I've been hitting the ground before the ball recently, and also have been trying to swing faster.

Anyone with similar experiences? Should I be seeing a doctor, or will it go away?

Was wondering if anyone had experiences living on the Coho Apartments on Brooklyn Ave (not the Coho real estate group)? Saw it this week but wanted to get thoughts on anyone who's lived there.

I'm a incoming grad student if that helps!

Hey guys, looking for housing soon and toured the Coho Apartments recently. The person that did the showing mentioned that his group took over in April and has been doing a lot of maintenance work, including new washers/dryers and redoing the carpet.

Wanted to know if anyone has lived in the Coho Apartments before can speak on how its like day to day - specifically, noise between the apartment units? That's the big thing that I'm worried about!

Hey guys - same person from this post and wanted to thank everyone for the help - I'm not from the Seattle area and the insights on First Hill were definitely needed (I will not be looking for housing there)!

After scouring past posts, it seems that finding housing can be awfully difficult in Seattle. My program starts in September but was thinking of moving in late June/early July and pick up a part-time job to help pay rent in the case I can't land a full-time position soon.

Do you think I'll be okay waiting til late July/August to sign a lease, or should I just sign a lease that starts lat

I'm starting grad school in the fall at UW and am currently looking at apartments - aiming to move in next month or July to get settled into Seattle.

I'm mostly looking at Capitol Hill but was wondering if First Hill is an okay place to live for UW students? Transit seems okay to get to and from campus, but wanted to get thoughts in from actual students here.

Is First Hill a place you'd recommend to UW graduate students, and assuming the building/neighborhood is okay + good price, worth the commute to and from campus?

Mamiya 645J + Sekor-C 55mm f/2.8: $300 shipped, open to offers

Title says it all: a wonderful Mamiya 645J with the 55mm f/2.8 lens. Recently upgraded to a RB67 and will no longer be needing this. Camera shoots great and am happy to give it a new home.

Comes with a very plush Op/Tech strap.

There is some corrosion on the viewfinder that is common on these models. It does not affect shooting.

No big, concerning issues. Once in a while, the shot counter will not jump back to zero when you’re done shooting - very easy to get around by rolling the gear inside manually when you’re done shooting.

Please let me know if you have any questi

Hi,

Title says it all - I've been accepted into UW's HCDE Program and UMich's UMSI Program, the latter with a 50% scholarship. If it helps, I'm a domestic student and out-of-state for both schools.

I'm a fresh junior UX Researcher and hoping to continue my UX Research career after graduate school. Despite the scholarship from UMich, I'm leaning towards UW mainly due to it being more career oriented than UMich, and the program itself has lots of people working in the companies I'd want to work in. But we also can't ignore the cost savings of UMich - so I'm at a bit of a standstill.

If someone can chime in on their thoughts, would appreciate it immensely!
