I have recently got myself an iPad Pro 11 and I’ve put on an ESR that I’ve linked below but the feel is very plasticky. I do not enjoy writing over it as well. It is also very reflective. For reference, I use a Torras tempered glass on my 17 pro max and the feel is very glass like in comparison.

I do see a few products on Amazon that promise to feel more like glass (ESR 7x strength, or ESR 10x strength) but I would like to know if anyone has suggestions of any other product I am not aware of. The other option is to remove the protector but I generally use my iPad for 7-8 years so I am a bit skeptical about that option.

Thanks in advance.

I've been going down a rabbit hole on this and I'm realising there's a huge gap between what most tutorials teach (RGB split, add grain overlay, colour shift, done) and what actual VHS footage looks like. Real tape has this specific way colour bleeds, the noise shifts every frame instead of being a static texture, and there are artifacts like head switching at the bottom of the frame that no overlay pack is going to replicate.

I've been testing ntscRS, that actually models the NTSC signal path instead of just layering effects — the difference is pretty noticeable once you see them side by side. But it's a desktop tool with its own workflow friction.

What's everyone here using? I'm curious

I've been trying to nail a good VHS look for a short video I'm working on and the options feel weirdly bad for how popular the aesthetic is. DaVinci's Analog Damage is locked behind Studio, Red Giant Universe is $200+/year, and most of the free approaches I've found involve stacking 5 different effects and hoping for the best.

I've been experimenting with ntscRS which is free and actually does signal-level emulation rather than just overlaying grain textures — the output is noticeably different from the usual RGB split + scan lines approach. But it's desktop only, and the workflow of exporting, processing externally, and re-importing adds friction.

What are you all actually using? Has anyo

I've been a lurker here long time and I have noticed a pretty big range in quality across posts here — some stuff genuinely looks like it was pulled off a tape, and some looks closer a phone filter VHS app. I'm curious about the gap.

For those of you getting convincing results: what's your actual pipeline? Real hardware? ntscRS? Something else? And is anyone doing anything specific for audio, like Audacity?

Hi guys, I want to buy my first Sony Handycam, and I want to get one which records a decent VHS aesthetic. On searching, a ton of models on eBay, and I have narrowed it down to a few.

All are tested, described as working condition, with the price of around 250 Euros, with the exception of the 65XR 65E, which is listed for 400 Euros.

Sony CCD TRV 69E

Sony CCD TRV 510E

Sony CCD TRV 325E

Sony CCD TRV65E 65XR

Sony CCD TRV 210E

Can someone please help me? Or is it a case where one can't go wrong with either of the model?

I have also been told to choose the models with the battery type of NS F330, because they are more abundant, and cheaper.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Guys, I and my wife travel from CSMIA twice a year from both international and domestic terminals. We live abroad so getting an Indian CC with a spend based criteria/ high annual fees doesn't make much ROI sense. I would like to know if we can pay at these lounges and access them instead. Also, is it worth paying, is the ambience inside better? Don't really care about the food, but more for peace of mind.

Searching this forum has given me some clues that the Adani One lounge in International departures is not worth it :(

I am looking at a long haul flight on a Lufthansa A340-300 and they are generally 25-33 years old. On top of that, I keep reading they are underpowered. I have flown 4 times on the aircraft and have felt it takes ages to rotate and climb.

I wanted to understand that for runways that are just a bit longer than what A340 needs, does it have enough of a buffer if things don’t go as planned while rolling?

Secondly, with the airframe being this old, is there a risk of decompression?

And thirdly, what about go arounds? If the plane is underpowered as they say, it would make things much more complicated.

Im really afraid to fly on one, can someone please shed some light on these points?

Hi guys, I am flying from MUN<>BLR and I have enough miles to get a roughly 70% of economy ticket price with miles alone. If I go ahead with the purchase, does Luftansa allow me to purchase an upgrade to Premium Economy? Or am I locked to the class I got the ticket in?

Hey guys, I have a 55 inch Sony X90L and a base PS5 and I am wondering if the lack of OLED tech will make a difference in how the games look? Is the upgrade good enough? If I sell my xbox series x and my ps5, I roughly have to pay around 100 euros for the upgrade. I play mostly AAA story driven games, love good graphics and am okay with around 60 fps.

r/FacebookAds•

Hi guys, Im setting up a sales ad campaign to a checkout landing page for an app in the health and fitness domain.

I setup a pixel which emits an event on a successful transaction.

Ive created 3 ad sets, with 1 ad each inside. All three ad sets differ only by the ad creative inside.

I have kept 20 dollars as the daily spend value per set, so 60 dollars total with only USA as a filter.

Ive set the ad to only display on instagram.

I have the following questions

  • is this budget enough to get atleast some data on the conversion rate?
  • Facebook predicts 0 conversion in my above setup, should I still publish it or increase the budget?
  • and is my setup okay for the goal I want to achieve
