I just bought a Reolink WiFi doorbell (D340W) black edition and I feel tricked because one of my primary requirements was package detection and instead of getting package detection I got a bait and switch where only the white version supports package detection…and guess what, it’s sold out everywhere!

I’m so frustrated, I got it installed drilled new holes in my door frame and everything only to need to return it and I don’t have anything to replace it with.

Does anyone know if the battery version (which both models support package detection 🙄) can be plugged in like the WiFi version and if it supports 24/7 recording? Or if there is a place I can buy the white version?

I have my own modem on a 1100Mbps plan with Xfinity. I have my own modem, but pay for unlimited data, as I have plex and a few other things on my home server cluster. I am fairly technically adept but I have this nagging issue that I can’t figure out.

Comcast reports my monthly data usage at over 12TB and my google wifi pro reports it at 312GB down with 472GB up.

The usage reported by google WiFi seems about right. I allow my parents access to my plex server and audiobook library so the upload is on par.

However the usage reported by Xfinity seems so wrong, and I just can’t figure out what the discrepancy is.

Obviously my first thought was a DDoS or Botnet aimed at my private server b

I learned this tip from a therapist a few years ago and I thought I should share it.

To fall asleep fast lay down and get (mostly) comfortable, close your eyes and then start counting up from 1 with the goal of reaching 150 (or any arbitrarily high number).

Count slowly (1 or less per second, and don't tack on "one-thousand") and let your mind wander, focus on the "closed eye splotches" and just watch the show.

If you make a major movent (adjusting pillow, cracking fingers, flipping over, etc.) start again from 1. Don't let this deter you from getting comfortable though. If you forget what number you are on, just pick any number you remember counting and go from there don't give it too

I’m going into a residential facility next week and I was wondering if anyone had any experiences of what it is like being a male in a co-ed residential facility.

The facility I’m planning on going to currently has 1 male. It seems like the right facility in every other way, but being one of two guys seems daunting and has me wondering if I should look somewhere else.

I’m a 30yo male and I am looking for a treatment facility located in the US. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Currently I’ve looked at Focus Treatment Center in Chattanooga and it looks promising but I can’t find much info on it online and that scares me a bit.

I currently have a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe and I’m looking for another car that has my favorite feature of under trunk storage (like where most SUVs put the spare tire, my car has a fairly large storage bin)

Other wants in order of desirability:

• Under trunk storage
• $60k or under (lowish mileage used is fine, if not preferred)
• Sun roof (I really like panoramic sunroofs as long as they can open)
• Car play (wireless preferred, and ideally a system that could be upgraded in a few years, I’m a techie so any fun tech features are a plus in general)
• AWD
• Heated/cooled seats and steering wheel
• Towing capacity >= 2500 lbs

There is this awesome site lofiatc.com that overlays live ATC audio over LoFi music. (Don’t knock it until you’ve listened to it)

I’d like to either use their stream (actually 2 separate streams that only start on button push) on HA or mimic the behavior (thinking Spotify lofi playlist with ATC stream playing simultaneously)

Does anyone know if it’s either possible to either:

Mimic a browser (and click on a button) and play the resulting streams on a media player

Or

Play 2 simultaneous streams (live ATC and Spotify)?
