There's alot more $ stashed into IRA's than regular brokerage accounts. I bet most APE's have not yet DRS'd their IRA shares.

I've DRS'd family IRA's multiple times. I almost did Ally (whew, they're not trustworthy).

I've had 0 problems with them. They've been prompt, straightforwards, and I have proof of share ownesthip with computershare in book form. NOTE: it is a little slow (3 weeks to confirm shares in the computershare website - most of that waiting was on the computershare side)

Now that citadel lost their lawsuit against IEX, when will fidelity begin to support order routing to IEX using the dlimit type?

I have very little confidence in the markets right now & I'd like to be able to route orders where they'll be real, instead of internalized or consumed in dark pools.

I personally use ATP, but would be content to use whatever is fastest.

The NFT lists "You might never know" and Mon. july 18 (28, oops), 2022 in the sidebar as metadata.

I opened up the nft on etherscan and opened up it's metadata. It's an ISO timestamp (developers would recognize it)

TLDR; If you buy via Computershare, they’re auto drs’d and held in your name.

It’s faster than buying from your broker, and the DRS’ing. Also no risk that your broker won’t DRS, or have a hiccup.

I’ve bought GME plenty of ways, and tomorrow is the last day to likely get your shares in before Monday July 18.

Next Tues pm, is the likely cutoff- after that and you won’t be able to buy drs’d GME shares in time.

If you must buy via a broker- tomorrow is the last chance to squeeze in a drs before the split. If there are any delays, you’ll miss it.

i've heard the explanation of how increasing the money supply decreases buying power and increase inflation. But I still don't get it. That's macroeconomics and microeconomics combined.

How does "printing money", actually affect prices? I mean the folks who set prices aren't the same folks who control the $ supply or the banks who loan out the new $. The "loss of purchasing power" seems logical at a macro level, but how the heck does that relate to prices of specific items - cars, a can of corn, gas?

There's a massive disconnect that I don't understand....can someone explain?
