It seems like a worthy investment to get a hot tub that uses a heat pump to heat it, but in searching around I'm not seeing that as an option. There are "spa" heat pumps available that could be plumbed in but it would be nice to not have to do that.
Does anybody have any vendors or recommendations in this regard?
He's an intelligent and kind, and also a devout evangelical (but not pushy about it -- he's what I consider to be a "good christian").
When pressing him on Trump he admits that he despises the man but is voting based on policy (which as a concept is what we all should be doing). His key complaint is about immigration. He maintains that the Democrats opened the floodgates to immigration so they could all vote democrat (ignoring the fact that these immigrants tend to be conservative and are not warm to a lot of progressive ideology).
When I brought up the fact that there was a bipartisan bill to reform immigration that was killed by Trump so Biden wouldn't look good, he dismissed that as "co
Any peptide users here using nasal delivery and (more so), making their nasal sprays?
I understand the efficiency of injections, but it sure would be nice to avoid sticking a needle in me if I can get close (enough) to the same effect by snorting it.
I’m curious as to thoughts and perspectives on the process of finding “the one” (aka “the bird in hand”).
My personal take is it’s pretty easy to:
• Start from just pic and profile. A profile is mandatory in my book -- I don't care how beautiful you are if we're not compatible.
• From there, some simple text chatting makes it easy verify if to continue on to..
• Voice mode: more free form and room for nuances to show through (good and bad). If that’s all good, then it’s a
• Coffee date: real life vs pics (oh how the time flies). Quality of engagement, of comportment and general warmth. Would you want more of that for its own sake? If so then it’s
• Succeeded by a dinner date
The goal is to collect experiences and seeds of doubt that led to one's rejection of their faith.
If you grew up religious and are now enlightened, it would be great to hear how that happened.
Were there any interactions that prompted this?
Can you identify the seeds of doubt?
If reddit has an algorithm for interests it is not very good. A simple case that drove me to make this post: sometimes a story is shown that is of interest but the story is in a geo-specific subreddit.
By clicking in to see the story and comments I am now going to get unrelated posts for that geo-specific subreddit even though I only cared about the story itself.
It seems obvious that most people are only going to care about geo-specific subreddits for areas that they live in or near (or past/future areas). Automatically assuming otherwise is just cluttering up the experience.
I'm able to easily convert a hex string into a blob using `unhex`, but when I try to select it and present it as a hex string it barfs:, e.g.,

It would be nice to find ways to say "no thank you" when somebody reaches out on OLD and there's no attraction but are otherwise an ostensible match.
If they're clearly incompatible then "I don't think we're a match" seems on point but feels a bit wrong if it's simply no attraction. I know that it could also cover it but it would be nice to find other ways to decline.
OLD is challenging and I'd like to not make it any worse for anybody else...
'nuff said.
That smile that flickers in -- it's like enlightenment was achieved, being at peace with her past.
That is all.
