Hey guys. So my grandfather recently passed away, and I want to use some of my inheritance to rebuild my PC. I built the thing about ten years ago, and while I have done some upgrades to it over that time, it is starting to show its age.

Currently, I am running a 12th gen i7, a Nvidia 3070, and 32GB of DDR4. I would like the new build to be something that can play anything current on the highest settings, hopefully without sacrificing too much in the way of framerate. I am happy with 60fps, but would love to see a machine just crank out on the frames.

I play pretty much everything, but am currently obsessed with RDR2, Cyberpunk 2077, and TES:OR. All of which can only play at my wanted 60f

Hey guys. So I just got SP, my buddy and I want to do playthroughs side-by-side. We are looking to do "Gym Leader" playthroughs, where we use all pokemon that share a type.

I'm looking at either doing a Dark Type build, or a Water type build.

If I go dark type, I am looking for Larvitar, Houndour, Cacnea, Corphish, Murkrow, and Skorupi, so I can start my team early. Also Spiritomb, if anyone has one.

If I go water type, I would be looking for Magikarp, Lapras, Shellder, Lotad, and Staryu (Empoleon being my starter choice)

If anyone would be willing to donate to this cause, I would be greatly appreciate. I have Scarlet and would happily trade things from there to fuel this endeavor!

Hey everyone, got an interesting conundrum for you. Due to the 18+ rules around YouTube, we decided last year to switch to allowing students to only view youtube videos that are embedded, and no longer accessing he Youtube page directly. So far, it has worked well! Usually, a teacher either assigns the video in Google Classroom as a Video Assignment, or they embed the links into a Google Doc, and the students can view the video through preview.

Today, we had a studetn who, when she hovers over the link, no longer sees a thumbnail, and no longer has a way to "Open Preview". We shared the file with out test account, same issue. However, when we access it from our own accounts/devices, we can

Hey everyone! I recently bought the Poly Studio P009 (USB conferencing Camera) to use to record our school board meetings. We love this device! However, we are looking for a way to mount the device to our suspended ceilings, and I am having trouble finding something. Does anyone have any experience with this device, or know of an obscure website that might have the mount I am looking for? Thanks to any assistance.

Hey everyone!

I'm sure you've all seen the banner about chrome app support ending in 2026. When I pull up my list, however, I see Google Classroom, Drive, Docs, Camera, Calculator, etc. These are all Google Applications, not anything I installed on these devices.

What will happen to these following the migration in 2026? Does google have plans to release updated version of these apps? Has anyone talked with Google about this preemptively, so I don't have to sit in a 2 hour chat with them?

Hey guys!

So I work for a school district that is 1-1 chromeos, including staff. We are unfortunately no longer able to update our windows devices that we have, and cannot afford to purchase new windows devices.

However, we also livestream our school board meetings to YouTube. And with no usable windows devices, we are now looking for a Camera/Mic combo that can be connected to a ChromeOS device and used for Livestreaming. I'm guessing that means we will need a device that can plug in via USB/USB-C and get recognized as a webcam?

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience that could help me locate a suitable product? I know cameras well enough, as I went to school for film, but never

So, my buddies and I want to create a BMC4 (Better Minecraft 4) modded server. We've done the server hosting thing, but the expense is too stupid to continue paying.

I've seen plenty of YouTube videos where they discuss buying used PC's and making your own Java servers. But I also know that running a Modded server, especially with multiple users, can be much more resource heavy.

Would one of these ITX-to-Java server builds work for BMC? If anyone has any experience with running a BMC1-4 server, what were the minimum specs you ran for it?

So let me start by saying this: I am extremely upset. I literally just got perma-banned from another Elden Ring subreddit over this one opinion, and believe me, I submitted a moderator claim against them for it, because I don't think having an opinion justifies a perma-ban.

Now let's open this up for discussion: Do you consider "monster kiting" to be a valid, PVP technique?

My answer is a loud, resounding NO! Why? Because forcing players to fight against a computer controlled AI, that you have no ability to interact or alter in any way, is not a skill, and it is not Player V Player. That is Player v Player v Environment. Anyone who uses monster kiting to try and invade in a soulsborne gam

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to share this with you all, as we have been working closely with a company called Cyberhoot now for the past two years. They are another, much more affordable option for Cybersecurity training. For those of us in the New England area, they are based out of Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, and fast to respond when support is needed. Their platform is comparable to some of the bigger names out there (I am sure more than a few of us have used KnowBe4 or other, similar products). Personally, I just like the fact that their videos are short, sweet, and to the point. We all know how well staff retain cyber awareness training when it

Hey everyone!

So at our district, we are 1-1 chromebooks. In order to prevent students from messing with internal files, we have blocked student access to File Explorer. Recently, our state put in a cell phone ban that prevents students from using cellular devices during school.

Our Home Ec teacher wants the kids to take pictures of their cooking as they progress through it and make a report. However, the chromebook cameras automatically upload the files to File Explorer, rather than Drive.

So, does anyone know of an extension that would allow students to take photos and upload them directly to their Google Drive?

So myself and a group of others have come together to make a DnD Podcast. We are looking to partner with an artist for the first season, preferably one who can do both world maps and battle maps.

If any individuals are interested, please shoot me a message. I will need to see some examples of both map types. Feel free to apply if you are only proficient in only one type, as we are not opposed to working with two individual artists if thats the best option.

Understand that this project is currently self funded, so while we will try to pay for services, anyone willing to work for advertising at the beginning will be prioritized.

Looking forward to hearing from anyone interested!
