Long story short, she moved her grandson in after her husband’s passing & in the last year he’s drained her entire life savings from 80k to a penny. Thankfully he has been apprehended but that doesn’t get any of her money back. Our church family are doing all we can but it’s just not possible to keep it up forever. We have started a gfubdme I will link in the comments if you can find it in your heart to donate or share. If you live in Georgia we are doing a benefit bike ride for her if you want details of that please dm . Besides that, is there anything else I could be doing? She is the sweetest lady & does not deserve this.

Long story short she moved in her grandson shortly after her husband past. He robbed her for her entire life savings. Our church is doing what we can & I’ve created a go fund me but I’m scared it’s not gonna be enough to keep her out of a nursing home.
I’m not sure how to help her. I just started a gofundme. But long story short after my neighbors husband died her grandson moved in & has been slowly draining her savings ever since. Literally from 80 to 1 penny. & no one even noticed until the bank asked to police for a welfare check. Now he’s in jail , but the donations from the church just aren’t enough for her to live on. I’ve started this gofundme if anyone can help it get attention I’ll link it in the comments. We also have a benefit bike ride planned if you’re anywhere in Georgia.
